I really, really like this--that Ollie knows in his head what the "right" answer is, but doesn't necessarily feel it or believe it. I get that Smallville is not a show that aims for realistic psychology, but "Roulette" as a follow-up to Ollie's attempted suicide is godawful and ridiculous. This is going to be my new canon instead. :)
