[community profile] seasonsofdrabbles opened their collection last week (and had reveals since) and these were the gifts I got! :D

Title: Dressing the Part
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] Topaz_Eyes
Fandom: Elementary
Pairing/Characters: Joan & Sherlock
Rating: G
Word Count: 1200
Summary: Sherlock and Joan prepare for an undercover investigation on a dude ranch.

I love fake dating and I haven't read it used in a platonic before but it totally works for these two. Everything about the set up is a lot of fun. :D

Title: Cozier
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] lionessvalenti
Fandom: MCU
Pairing/Characters: Natasha/Sam
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary: Natasha is wearing Sam's hoodie. He doesn't mind.

Clothes sharing/stealing & Sam/Natasha? Adorable combo! :D

Title: Here We Go Again
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] Ultra
Fandom: Gilmore Girls
Pairing/Characters: Jess & Doula, Rory/Jess
Rating: G
Word Count: 300
Summary: 'Of course, he wasn't there because he heard that she was home for a while. Rory wasn't sure why she ever thought as much. Maybe it was only wishful thinking. Maybe she should stop living in the past.'

I love Jess bonding with his siblings, something we were deprived of in canon and combine that with Rory/Jess makes it even better. Especially with references to one of my favorite episodes!

Title: softly, trembling
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] Jubileen
Fandom: Ted Lasso
Pairing/Characters: Ted/Rebecca
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 2100
Summary: After accepting a dinner invitation from Ted, Rebecca quickly learns about the love and comfort to be found from the food and company.

Tedbecca + food is an excellent combo and I loved everything about this. The way they gradually got closer and developed feelings made me happy. :D

[community profile] fancake has revealed its theme for the month: cultural differences. Find out more by clicking the banner below!

A Sikh man with brown skin looks directly at the camera, arms crossed, one hand to his chin. He has a full beard and wears his hair covered with a dastār in an abstract pastel pattern that compliments his floral short-sleeve shirt. His buddy, standing close behind him and slightly to the side, is also a brown man and has a trimmed beard and wavy black hair. He's wearing a stonewash black denim shirt with the sleeves rolled and the collar popped. They look like they're about to start something, like a synth pop duo, or a street debate. Behind them is a brightly colored carnival structure with mismatched vertical segments of blue, red, and yellow, and in the upper left corner of the image, in a serif font with a subtle decorative curl to it, are the words 'Cultural Differences,' which are then doubled directly below it, flipped, like a shadow, only now the decorative curls make it look like another language. Tucked beneath that are the words 'at Fancake,' also upside down and also unreadable, which is not great from a branding perspective, but I guess what I'm driving at is maybe cultural differences are also a matter of perspective.
