3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
6- Smallville is the highest by far and then: Gilmore Girls, MCU, Nolan movies (SV crossovers), One Tree Hill & DCEU
4) What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
1. The Right Girl (Gilmore Girls, Rory/Jess); post-series; Rory runs into Jess at Luke's.
2. fly with me (SV/Nolanverse/DCU, Clark/Bruce); Clark convinces Bruce to fly with him.
3. In Every Sense of the Word (SV/Nolanverse/DCU, Clark/Bruce); Clark knows Bruce better than anyone.
4. Rumor Has It (Smallville, Clark/Oliver) Ollie's reaction a rumor about the two of them has Clark rethinking their relationship.
5. Never Say Goodbye (Smallville, Clark/Oliver); That night at the penthouse was not the first time Clark met Oliver Queen. He has met him before but he just doesn’t remember where or when. But as the memories return, Clark finds out that his fateful summer in Metropolis is not as long gone as he thought it was.
5) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Yes, of course. I really love and appreciate feedback so I definitely like acknowledging it and thanking people for their comments. It's a nice way to interact with people who like the same ship as you. Plus, I always love getting responses from writers when I leave comments on their stories.
6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Probably "Forever May Not Be Long Enough", where it ended with Clark and Oliver broken up but then again I wrote that with the intention of writing a sequel. Which resulted in it being completely OOC and melodramatic and is probably one of the least favorite things I've ever written. Or What Hurts the Most, where Ollie rejects Clark despite feeling the same way because he killed Lex. I don't write angsty endings often- I prefer angst with a happy ending.
7) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Almost everything? Most of my fics have happy endings. Possibly "wrap you up in my love" because Clois are happy with their child and expecting another one.
8) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Rarely. I have written two Smallville/Gilmore Girls crossovers: Last First Date (Chloe/Jess) and A Small Town Called Stars Hollow where Chloe ends up there after she fakes her death, but they're both ficlets.
9) Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Yes, a few times. Fortunately, it's very rare and far between. Been pretty lucky overall in terms of feedback. Once I got someone hating on two of my fics in Spanish so I had to translate that to realize they were insults.
10) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
No, I'm not good at it. I wrote one sex scene in a fic and it came out very formulaic so I stick to fade to blacks or alluding.
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
No, not as far as I know.
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes, once, of my Clark/Lois/Oliver drunk dialing fic, in Russian. Late Night Calls | Translation
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I tried once, with my beta, but we never got close to finishing it. I don't think I would be able to do that again.
14) What’s your all time favorite ship?
Clark/Lois and Clark/Oliver from Smallville. My general top/het OTP and my beloved slash/SV OTP. :D
15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I like to pretend that one day I will go back and finish my Excelsior fic, In Love ... All Bets are Off, but unfortunately I doubt it. At least before I was out of fandom so I had an excuse but now that I'm writing again, I do feel bad, just for my own sake.
16) What are your writing strengths?
Fairly decent with SPAG, dialogue and characterization.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Descriptions, settings, and anything sexual. I keep having to tell myself that my fic can't just be the two characters talking because I get lost in that often.
18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I'm impressed with people who can handle it and make it flow. I don't speak any other languages and I would never risk it, because of flawed translations that are available online. Unless I could have a native speaker help me, I wouldn't dare.
19) What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Smallville. No surprise there lol
20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
It changes often, but probably: i got you (no need to ask), my Clark/Oliver friends with benefits or i'm broken and it's beautiful (can someone just hold me, don't fix me), a Clois fic. I just liked how they came out. I wrote a FWB fic for Clark/Ollie ages ago but I never liked how that turned out, since it was pretty clear they were in a relationship immediately and not subtle at all so I'm glad I got the opportunity to do the trope better. If I ever finish my Clois role reversal, it will probably be that.
