Bookstore AUs are definitely rare but it is definitely easier to make a coffee shop AU work for a variety of characters (esp since Lois canonically worked at one).
And please, sequel away! Share the glory!!! Awesome! IDK when things will calm down because I keep signing up for stuff but at some point, I would like to explore it more.
