Those are very useful tips. I will keep them in mind. Thank you! I think my biggest problem is that I will get ideas but want to do too much and then get overwhelmed because the idea sounds so good in my head that I don't think I can get it right on paper, if that makes sense. I need to set more reasonable goals and expectations.

I don't blame you! They can be fun but like you said, stressful. I really wanted to do one idea and then I couldn't get it off the ground. Fortunately my artist was also in a busy state so we mutually quit. The other one was for a Reverse Bang and I just fell in love with the art idea and since it wasn't claimed after, like, twelve hours, I figured it was a sign. That didn't account for my lack of muses. Then again, I shouldn't have taken on big challenges when at that point, I hadn't even written the ship in question before (Sam/Bucky). I think I would be more comfortable now.

You're very prolific for sure! The lockdown/pandemic was legit the only reason I got back into active fandom mode/writing again so I totally relate. Longer form stories definitely leave you more room to play around in and expand and can be nice in their own right.
