Yes, I was talking about Jack/Will and maybe that came out wrong, but it wasn't meant to sound misogynist and I actually take offense to being called that. I am as far from that as you can get. I apologize if it did sound that way. I should've taken the time to explain but I was trying to be brief. I LOVE strong female characters (e.g. Lois Lane & Nyota Uhura) and I actually shipped Will/Elizabeth pretty hardcore in the first movie. I like Elizabeth in moments like when they made her the Pirate Queen (that was what it was, right?) but when they have her torn between Jack and Will, it makes it look so cheesy and fake. Triangles just irritate me, even though I know they're necessary to create drama, but that particular one was really unnecessary. Does that make sense?
Oh, serious fail. I've tried to come up with people for this meme way too many times on LJ that I guess I'm slipping. Replace both Anne Hathaways with 'Hilary Swank' and 'Angelina Jolie'.
