Some people end up leaning toward rare pairs! The heart wants what it wants. I have a mix of popular ships and rare ones and even less frequently, the rare ship that got popular. I haven't seen BtVS but yeah I have heard Spike can be a polarizing character, at least ship wise with Buffy. And that is too bad. Timing can be fickle and fandom can move fast.
