True. One thing I liked about the original run was that Rory didn’t always get everything right away. She struggled in Chilton and in Yale and even in her journalism pursuits. AYITL!Rory felt like she was expecting everything to go her way from the very start. One of my favorite parts was her telling Jess she used to be a contender. Because by then I was rooting for her instead of rolling my eyes.
