Dear creator,
Thank you for participating in this exchange! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I hope that the information I provided helps. I tried to leave a couple of prompts for each request but you're not at all obligated to use them and you can also to take one prompt and adapt it to another request that you feel that it fits better. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via the mod and I will do my best to answer.
I do enjoy Halloween themed stories (trick or treating, parties, decorating, costumes, etc) but it is also not necessary to work it in. :D

Barbie (Movie 2023):
Ships I like: Margot Robbie's Barbie/Ryan Gosling's Ken (Despite the fact that I get the uneven feelings and how they didn't end up together, I do ship it so if they find their way back together, that's cool too but no pressure)
Friendships/Gen: Ken & any other Ken, Ken & Alan, Barbie & any other Barbie, Barbie & Ken, Barbie & Gloria
Margot Robbie's Barbie: I really loved seeing her journey. She was a very reluctant hero but I could see why she didn't want her world shaken up. She was still very sweet and kind and enthusiastic and got where she needed to be eventually. I'd love to read about her adjusting to her new life!
Prompts:
1. figuring out a life/career
2. visiting Barbie Land after she settles down
3. her first Halloween
Ryan Gosling's Ken: I thought the movie was pretty sympathetic to him and even when it was tough to watch, it was clear to see his journey of where it was going early on. Barbie was shown to have emotions first but it was interesting that Ken expressed so many even before their journey into the real world. I am curious to see how he finds himself after Barbie left.
Prompts:
1. He figures what he is interested in outside of Barbie (even better if he does get a horse)
2. Ken ends up in the real world too
3. helping/hanging out with other Kens
Crossover Fandom:
Fandom DNW: bashing canon love interests (Rory, Lois, Steve, etc)
Arthur Curry (Aquaman 2006)/Clark Kent (Smallville): I won't pretend that Justin Hartley playing AC doesn't have a part of this. I love their chemistry and ship them on Smallville for sure. But I also was interested in what I saw of the Aquaman TV show and thought it did have a lot of potential. I'm not totally sorry it didn't work out because it did bring JH to Smallville and his Oliver is my favorite, but also I genuinely do wish we could've seen more and I think Clark and AC, who both had to find about their own pasts and discover who they are would really understand each other. You can handwave Smallville AC if you would like, if you want to have them meet after s5.
Prompts:
1. one of them rescues the other
2. set up on a blind date or meet on an online date website (or even some sort of dating event/speed dating)
3. mistaken identity
Clark Kent (Superman Returns)/Bruce Wayne (Batman Begins): This particular Clark just matches up well with this Bruce for me. Obviously their movies came out around the same time but they're both finding (and refinding) their place after going to discover themselves (and in Clark's place, rumors of what was left of Krypton). I'd love to see them connect and find common ground and of course, fall in love. I know it says 'Batman Begins' but I'm also fine with Bruce post TDK or even AUs of them knowing each other before Clark took off.
Prompts:
1. They meet at a masquerade ball
2. Clark interviews Bruce
3. teaming up to take down a villain
Diana (DCEU)/James T. Kirk (ST:AOS): I'm not going to pretend that the fact I ship Kirk being played by Chris Pine and I ship Diana/Steve does play a part, but I think that specific angst makes it more interesting. Kirk and Steve are very different and I imagine it would be jarring to see someone with Steve's face but nothing like Steve for Diana. I love both characters a lot and I can see Kirk flirting with Diana, getting the brush off, but somehow, being even more intrigued. Diana would probably initially want to keep her distance from this Steve doppleganger but it would be interesting if she couldn't stay away and liked Kirk for his own merits.
Prompts:
1. The crew of the Enterprise (or even just Kirk) end up on Themyscira
2. Diana is brought in as a specialist to help with a mission
3. they meet when Kirk is on shore leave
4. Kirk is rescued by Wonder Woman
Diana (DCEU)/Natasha Romanov (MCU): Diana and Natasha also have potential! I can see them being interested in one another. They've both experienced loss and pain but they still fight for the better of the world and are the backbones of their respective teams.
Prompts:
1. their teams work together (in a shared mcu/dceu universe - you can handwave the details) and they pine while trying to stay professional
2. one of them ends up in the other's universe and ends up connecting with the other
3. one of the saves the other's life
Peggy Carter (MCU)/Diana (DCEU): Obviously they've both experienced the loss of their blond haired Steve to plane accidents but I think they're both tough women who are compassionate and have enough differences to make a fun ship. They're both a little jaded but still have a lot of hope/always want to do what's right, and I can see them drawn to one another.
Prompts:
1. Diana runs into Peggy after WWII
2. Peggy finds herself in Themyscira
3. meet while searching for a common enemy
Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)/Peyton Saywer (One Tree Hill): For some reason, I'm really fascinated with the idea of these two. They're both interested in music and while Peyton isn't as big a reader as Jess is, I think they would get along, after maybe initially being snarky and clashing if they met when they're teenagers.
Prompts:
1. Jess ends up in Tree Hill instead of Stars Hollow
2. they meet up in California when Jess is with his father and after Peyton has just broken up with Lucas
3. Peyton's label signs Lane's band and they meet through them
Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls)/Lucas Scott (One Tree Hill): I thought they had chemistry when CMM played Tristan but I think character wise, Lucas would be much more fitting for Rory. Even though Lucas plays basketball, they both love to read and love music and are a bit more on the reserved/introverted side.
Prompts:
1. Their high schools play each other and Rory runs into Lucas after the game
2. She interviews him when he's promoting one of his novels
3. she meets him during spring break or they're at the same place on vacation
Other OTH ships I like (for background): Nathan/Haley, Brooke/Lindsey, Brooke/Lucas, Brooke/Rachel, Brooke/Peyton, Lucas/Lindsey, Peyton/Jake, Karen/Keith
Other GG ships I like: Emily/Richard, Luke/Lorelai, Lane/Dave, Rory/Paris, Paris/Doyle, Paris/Jamie (and I'm okay with Lane/Zach)
DCEU:
Other Ships I like (for background): Barry/Iris, Bruce/Selina (I know she wasn't in the DCEU so you can use your favorite interpretation)
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the Justice League, Clark & Martha, Clark & Steve, Lois & Steve
Arthur/Mera: I liked them in the first Aquaman movie and from what we saw in the ZSJL. The way they clashed and didn't get along due to their perceptions and then had to work together and fell in love is a dynamic I generally enjoy and it really worked for me.
Prompts:
1. Arthur introduces Mera to Halloween
2. Atlanna is allowed to stay with her family but Arthur is set into an arranged marriage with Mera. Neither of them are pleased ... at first.
3. post Aquaman, where Arthur is adjusting to being King and them figuring out their relationship too
Clark/Lois: They're great together. I love how mature and loving their relationship is. Lois figuring out Clark and his identity and Clark appreciating Lois for believing in him even in MoS was lovely. I didn't see BvS but the scene where Clark tells Lois that she is his world gets to me. I love the way that she was the one who calmed him down and brought him back post resurrection and I'm so glad that they seem to be not only engaged but have a baby after the ZSJL.
Prompts:
1. anything between the MoS and BvS where they're figuring out their lives and relationship as well as Clark's dual identity (dates, chasing after a story, Superman rescues, moving in together)
2. post ZSJL - planning for their wedding and a baby
3. AU where Krypton doesn't explode - Lois is thrown into an arranged marriage with Kal-El to bring an understanding between their worlds
Diana: She's such an awesome character - just strong and brave and compassionate. She's always willing to stand up for what she believes in and is full of empathy for others. I enjoyed her origin story in WW and was a little let down by WW84 but I still wish we got a third movie. I would love to read about any Themyscira backstory or anything set at any point in canon.
Prompts:
1. Diana right after the first WW. Does she go back to Themyscira at any point? How does she get the job at the Louvre?
2. helping expand the League and her own efforts post Justice League (I prefer the ZS version)
3. Diana's first Halloween
Diana & Lois: I wish we could've seen them really meet/interact. I think they both could use another friend and Gal and Amy had such good off screen chemistry in interviews too. I think they would get along, especially after BvS - Diana knows what it is like to lose the man she loves and it could've been a good place to start.
Prompts:
1. AU where Lois meets Diana before she meets Clark
2. Lois and Diana work together to solve a case/track down a villain
3. Diana takes Lois to Themyscira
Diana/Steve: I definitely fell for these two hard in the WW movie. I loved how they met, with Diana saving Steve, and how she took a risk to leave with him. The way he isn't intimidated by her and how they work together so well really sold me on the ship. I was happy to see Steve back in WW84 but I didn't like how he possessed someone else's body to return. AUs of the movie are more than welcome.
Prompts:
1. Diana and Steve visit Themyscira
2. Diana tries to date in the present and after a few unlucky matches, she connects with a guy on an app - his name is Steve and he certainly sounds familiar (whether Steve has his memories of his "past" life or however he returned is up to you)
3. Steve returns in WW84 but not possessing someone else's body. Maybe he is a ghost and they don't realize only Diana can see him. I would like for them to have a happy ending though. Maybe he does go away by the end of the movie events but returns in the present day
Gilmore Girls:
Fandom DNW: Rory bashing/shaming, Jess "showing up" other guys (especially Rory's exes), Richard and Emily getting treated as if they didn't do anything wrong
Other Ships I like (for background): Sookie/Jackson, Emily/Richard, Paris/Jamie, Paris/Doyle. I'm okay with Lane/Zach if you want to set it in the later seasons
Friendships/Gen: Jess & Lane, Jess & Paris, Jess & April, Jess & Doula, Jess & Lily, Rory & Lane, Rory & Paris, Rory & April, Rory & Richard, Rory & Emily, Rory & Luke, Lorelai & Sookie, Lorelai & Emily, Lorelai & Richard
Jess Mariano: He was one of my favorite characters on the show. I like that we saw this broody boy who, to be fair, had reason to be upset that he was stuck in Stars Hollow (as much as I love him, Luke was pretty much forced in taking him) and we saw him really grow. Even though he may not have been serious about school but he was clearly a hard worker, as proven by the fact that he got Employee of the Month and he took steps to changing himself in s4 by reading the self help book. I like how his relationship with Luke was at the heart of his development and that we not only saw the potential but saw him live up to it and it stuck in the Revival, which was one of my favorite parts. It was really heartwarming to see him stable and be supportive to both Luke and Rory.
Prompts:
1. AU where Jess grew up in Stars Hollow (with or without Liz)
2. Jess in between s4 & s6 - writing his book, making friends with Matt & Chris and working at the Truncheon
3. Jess getting to know April and/or Doula
Lane/Dave: I really loved these two together. Lane is one of my favorite characters- she's funny, daring and loyal- and Dave was such a good guy. The way he was willing to go along with the secrecy even when it was complicated for them to see each other and read the whole Bible just to figure out what Mrs Kim meant was so great. I know they didn't work out because Adam Brody left to go on the OC but I wish it had. They seemed to really make each other happy.
Prompts:
1. after Lane gets kicked out, she finds her way to California and meets up with Dave
2. They don't break up and maintain a long distance relationship
3. Lane is working at Luke's and Dave is a frequent customer who is part of a band. One day, they need a replacement drummer.
Lorelai & Rory: I really loved this mother/daughter relationship. It wasn't perfect but that makes it all that more interesting. Lorelai did her best to give Rory a good life and prioritize her and it was very clear that Rory appreciated all the sacrifices her mom made for her. For all that the show tries to push the narrative, especially in the Revival, that everyone turns out like their parents, Lorelai and Rory are shown to be very different people and I think it is worth thinking about how that affects them as she got older/did her own thing.
Prompts:
1. in which Rory has more internships abroad or her dream job puts her in more dangerous situations and Lorelai having to deal with that
2. AU where Lorelai didn't leave home with Rory. How their lives and relationship changed as Rory grew up with her grandparents
3. anything set pre-canon (Rory's first Halloween, etc)
4. anything Halloween related - I can't imagine they wouldn't be all over a holiday with candy and costumes (and Stars Hollow would be too)
Luke & Jess: Their relationship is one of my favorites on the show. I like how they were both uncertain and edgy - as much as I love Luke, he did take in Jess reluctantly - and then grew so close. Luke did want what was best for Jess, even when he didn't know how to express it, and Jess really grew to appreciate Luke's support and loyalty. Jess being there and supporting Luke in the Revival was one of the highlights for sure.
Prompts:
1. Jess grows up in Stars Hollow/goes to live with Luke earlier
2. keeping in touch after Jess leaves in s4
3. Jess showing Luke his first book
4. anything surrounding Jess's childhood - maybe Luke takes him trick or treating as a kid
Luke/Lorelai: One of my favorite friends to lovers ships. I really liked how they bantered and were there for each other, even in s7 when they were broken up. Plus there were tons of 'almost' moments and signs of feelings before they were able to admit it. And denial was another fun aspect of this ship too! Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I like AUs, fics set during any point of the show, the Revival or anything in between.
Prompts:
1. anything set after s7- where they're working their way back together, and maybe they even get married/do decide to have more kids
2. Luke tells Lorelai about April immediately and they figure it out together
3. AU where Luke finds out about April when she's a toddler and is also a single parent
4. pre-relationship where Lorelai needs/wants a date to a Halloween party (or any party) and she drags Luke
Paris/Rory: My favorite rivals to friends (to lovers) ship! Paris is a great character and I love her dynamics with Rory. Rory was so patient with her in the early seasons- she was able to stand up to Paris when necessary but also was open to listening her to and being there for her when she needed a shoulder. That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.
Prompts:
1. post GG Revival; Paris helps out Rory through her pregnancy and they develop feelings
2. AU where Rory grew up with her grandparents and how that changes her relationship with Paris (if it does) as they grow up together
3. friends with benefits/casual sex turns into real feelings
Rory Gilmore: Rory is another of my favorite characters. She's kind, smart, and hardworking and she just wants to believe in the best in people while still being able to stand up for herself (as showing with both Paris and Jess). While she does make mistakes and has had her stumbles, I do think she does take responsibility for her actions and does her best to fix them. I was a little let down by the Revival but I've since come around and don't think she's not as far gone as people seem to believe.
Prompts:
1. post Revival, writing a book and figuring out a longer career path. She can find her way back to journalism or try something new - I can see her getting a Masters and teaching at Chilton, since she seemed to connect with the students on her visit
2. what she was doing in between s7 & the Revival - following the campaign, her New Yorker article, etc
3. her relationship with her grandfather and grief over his passing
Rory/Jess: These two are one of my favorite ships. Some people like to read but for Rory and Jess, it is more than that, which is why their shared passion is so important. They found a connection with someone else who understood them. Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department. What I don't like though is that people acting like Rory doesn't deserve Jess or she has fallen too far off in the Revival. Sure she made mistakes but just like Rory accepted Jess, I don't think he would judge her for it and it's clear in canon he still believes in her. Another thing I love about them.
Prompts:
1. Rory and Jess don't break up at the end of s3 and try a long distance relationship while Jess figures out his life
2. Jess ends up getting closer to Rory post Revival with her book and unintentionally ends up helping with the pregnancy/baby
3. anything set during s3 - the show referred to their regular dates but we didn't see it! So movie nights, going to the bookstore, etc
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham:
Rahul/Anjali: These two always have the best chemistry and they're just so much fun, before they get together and as a married couple. I love how smitten he was with her immediately and how she was slowly won over and the way that even as they playfully bickered in the second half, you can see how loving their relationship was, despite Rahul's grumpy moments.
Prompts:
1. moments between them leaving his house (after they just got married and he got kicked out) and settling in London
2. the readjustment back to India
3. married moments - anniversaries, holidays, etc
Rahul & Rohan: Love this brotherly relationship. Their teasing but loving nature in the first half an Rohan's devotion to make things right in the second half, especially the emotional reactions he constantly had to Rahul really got to me.
Prompts:
1. moments where Rahul almost realized the truth
2. Rohan actually catches up to Rahul (and not the guy wearing the same sweater)
3. moments of getting to know each other after the reveal
Rohan/Pooja: These two were a lot of fun in the movie. I liked when they were kids and their friendship to their push/pull relationship as adults. Rohan able to go to Pooja and willingness to help really revealed the depth and connection they both had.
Prompts:
1. AU where they secretly kept in touch when Rohan left for boarding school
2. married life
3. shippy moments at any point of the second half of the movie or after
MCU:
Fandom DNW: Steve/Steve's Endgame ending bashing (feel free to ignore), rehash of CW debate with bias toward one side (I'm Team Cap but I don't want to go over it - I'm fine if it is touched upon but not with one side groveling and the other just being superior/noble), past/present/unrequited Steve/Bucky or Steve/Sam, focus on Zemo, Bucky only having flirted with Sarah to make Sam jealous
Other Ships I like (for background, if necessary): Bruce/Betty, Bucky/Darcy, Bucky/Sam/Rhodey, Bucky/Natasha/Sam, Clint/Coulson, Clint/Laura, Natasha/Clint/Coulson, Natasha/Pepper, Natasha/Rhodey, Natasha/Sharon, Natasha/T'Challa, Maria/Sharon, Nebula/Rhodey, Carol/Rhodey, Sam/Rhodey, Sam/Erik Killmonger, Sam/T'Challa, Steve/Tony, T'Challa/Nakia, T'Challa/M'Baku, Thor/Jane, Thor/Sif, Tony/Pepper
Friendships/Gen: any of the above, Steve & Bucky, Steve & Sam, Steve & Natasha, Tony & Nebula, Tony & Rhodey, any combo of the Avengers
Bucky/Natasha: I haven't read the comics but I think the potential of these two is intriguing. They both have darkish pasts that they struggle to go past and want to make the right choices. Both have a dry sense of humor and I feel like Natasha would enjoy teasing Bucky the way she does Steve. Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU. I am good with it being set during TFATWS too, with Natasha's death being handwaved or she is return when Steve returns the soul stone
Prompts:
1. Natasha survives post Endgame, and she is hanging around during TFATWS. I can see her making fun of Bucky's attempts at blind dating and the two of them gradually falling in love
2. They meet in the '40s - either Natasha existed then or she's time traveling
3. They're set up on a blind date/meet on a dating app
Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. I'm fine with fics set anywhere after TWS, pre-canon, TFATWS, or total AUs.
Prompts:
1. trying to date while avoiding the media
2. There are rumors about them being a couple, only they're not and now they can't stop thinking about it
3. either they time travel to the past or past!Bucky comes to the future and he flirts with Sam, making present!Bucky jealous
4. spending time in Louisiana
Natasha/Sam: I really liked these two during TWS. I thought they had good chemistry and I feel like their personalities mesh. They both have a sense of humor, have strong values and are very loyal and brave. It is one of the couples I really could've seen working in canon. Sam's one of my favorites- he's kind but no nonsense and has the attitude that Natasha would appreciate.
Prompts:
1. going on vacation together
2. Bodyguard AU where Sam's the new Captain America and they assign Natasha to protect him after he gains a stalker
3. undercover mission where they have to pretend to be together/married
Peggy/Steve: I really loved them in TFA- the way Steve was amused at Peggy immediately and Peggy being interested in pre-serum Steve just won me over. Tons of UST. This is the ship I truly didn't think I would see together again, even though I appreciated all the moments of Steve loving Peggy in the present day and Peggy still loving Steve in Agent Carter so for them to get their dance and a happy ending in one timeline made me really happy.
Prompts:
1. Peggy got some version of the serum and she is on the plane when it crashes and they both end up in the future
2. Steve is found sooner and he and Peggy adjust to live with the added celebrity of Captain America
3. Instead of dying in CACW, Peggy is deaged. Or she dies and comes back to life
Steve Rogers: He's one of my favorite characters. He's brave and stubborn and fights for what he believes in. He's not flawless but that makes him more interesting. And he has a sense of humor/can be a bit of a troll, which makes him fun too. The deleted scenes from The Avengers where he is going around/adjusting to life in the present really make me sympathize with his situation even more. My unpopular opinion is that his Endgame ending did make sense, since I never really saw him totally adjusting and learning to *live* in the present, just accept his circumstances and I do believe what happened in the five years/losing Natasha really did play a huge part, since she was all he had for so long. That being said, I do enjoy fics where he does adjust and isn't just jumping from crisis to crisis. But I'd love anything from any point of canon, whether that is pre-TFA all the way up to Endgame or total AUs.
Prompts:
1. stories about him returning the stones
2. post Avengers - where did Steve go when he rode off on his motorcycle
3. Steve dealing with life post Snap - how he decided to start the grief counseling group, etc
Steve/Tony: I fell for them in the Avengers movie and they quickly became one of my OTPs. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.
Prompts:
1. impromptu feelings revelation, maybe after one of them gets hurt protecting the other
2. first dates, anniversaries, date nights, proposals - anything fluffy and/or romantic
3. artist Steve + Tony as his muse
Smallville:
Fandom DNW: Arrowverse characters/fanon ships, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' (good with Clark and Lois having twins/being married but not with him permanently giving up his powers), focus on Chloe (I had issues with her character starting in s8 but with what the actress has done, I don't really want to read about her in a main role)
Other Ships I like (for background): Martha/Jonathan, Lois/Kara, Kara/Jimmy, Kara/Lana, Kara/Chloe, Oliver/Dinah, Oliver/Chloe, Chloe/Victor, Chloe/George Dean (guy she was with in Apocalypse AU), Chloe/Lana, Chloe/Bart, Bart/Mia, AC/Mera, Lex/Lana (as long as he doesn't go evil), Lana/Jason (again, as long as he doesn't go evil), Tess/Emil
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the SV Justice League, Clark & Lana, Clark & Lois, Clark & Oliver, Clark & Lex, Clark & Tess, Lois & Lana, Lois & Oliver, Lois & Martha, Oliver & Mia, Oliver & Tess
Clark & Jonathan & Martha: They were really the heart of the show in the early seasons. I really like the family dynamic and how they had their ups and downs but at the end of the day, they were a strong, loving unit. I was very sad when Jonathan died and then Martha wasn't around in the final seasons. There were so many things I loved about the last few seasons but I did miss them and it was good to see them all together one last time in the finale.
Prompts:
1. anything pre-canon, like taking Clark trick or treating or him learning to control his powers or general family moments
2. canon divergence where Martha doesn't lose the baby
Clark & Kara: I really liked the idea of these two and I wish we could've seen more of them in s7. Clark having stable Kryptonian family that could teach him about his history (Raya was the only other one that got close - I'm not all that fond of the AI) and culture would've been nice. It'd also be great to see Kara finding her own footing and see where she lands up, outside of Supergirl.
Prompts:
1. Kara and Clark bonding
2. the two of them teaming up to take down a villain
3. AU where Kara's ship opened and then she finds/takes care of Clark herself
Clark/Lois: A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. Lois getting close to Clark's parents even before they were together (and how they love her) is another point that I appreciated. I like anything set during canon or divergences or post canon (or in that seven year gap) or complete AUs. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.
Prompts:
1. investigating a Halloween related mystery (questionable costume store?)
2. Daily Planet Halloween party
3. Lois remembering one of the things she didn't in canon (what happened in 'Crimson', keeping her memories after Clark turned back time in 'Identity', retaining her memories after 'Pandora') and how that changes things for them
Clark/Lois/Oliver: My OT3. While I love the individual ships in it, I also love the dynamic they have as a trio. We didn't get to see as many scenes with just them as I would've liked but the ones were got were really great. They really balance one another out. Each of them has something in common with one of the others (Clark with Ollie, Clark with Lois, Lois with Ollie) but they're different enough to really make it interesting. I'm good with the three of them getting together at the same time or two of them already being together and including the third.
Prompts:
1. they get to finish their movie night in "hydro"
2. Oliver hangs out with Lois & Clark post Green Arrow reveal and has feelings for both of them
3. Oliver and Lois have gotten back together/never broken up and he notices the chemistry between Clark & Lois. Then he realizes Clark is into him too and makes a plan (after consulting Lois); bonus: he and Clark kissed as a distraction and he wasn't able to stop thinking about it
Clark/Oliver: Another OTP. I didn't expect to fall for them as hard as I did in s6 but I just loved their dynamic. The push and pull and the way they had this ultimate respect for one another was great but then it grew in s8-10. It was tough watching them fight but I did like how they always came back together, and even when they didn't agree, they cared about each other with Clark always believing Oliver was better and Oliver reminding Clark that the Kandorians weren't the only family that he had. One of my favorite moments was when Clark said that he hadn't quit on Oliver Queen in "Echo". One thing I do ask if that if you choose to set it in the later seasons that Lois doesn't get hurt. I am fine with handwaving the Clois romance rather than her having unrequited feelings or them breaking up because I adore her/don't want to see her hurt and I love Clois.
Prompts:
1. Clark goes to a masquerade ball hosted by Queen Industries and strikes it off with a mysterious "stranger" (maybe J'onn is posing as Oliver to practice his shapeshifting, which is why he doesn't think it's Ollie?)
2. one of them gets hurt and the other one seems to not be visiting but it turns out that they're taking the night shift so others can rest/they can protect them when they're most vulnerable
3. Oliver broke a witch's heart (can be Zatanna) and her father curses him to be a genie/trapped in a lamp. Clark buys it.
Lois/Lana: They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. They clearly get along very well and they had some good chemistry to which I can see them being a couple. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. On that note, please don't make Clark the villain or have them hook up because one or both are pining over him.
Prompts:
1. Lois doesn't get kicked out of college and then she needs a roommate
2. Lana meets Lois in Paris instead of Jason
3. Lana keeps her powers and rescues Lois, who is curious about the new hero in town
Lois/Oliver: I really never expected to like them as much as I did, but their chemistry in s6 was undeniable and both their breakups really got to me. I loved how sexy and playful they were, even when his secret was in between them, and how he fell for her at literally first sight and the way she mistook him for a courier. Most importantly, their friendship in the final seasons was one of the best parts - they really transitioned into supportive bffs perfectly and were a ton of fun.
Prompts:
1. she gives him a second chance in 'Siren' and they have to deal with a long distance relationship
2. Lois realizes she's pregnant after Oliver leaves
3. she has to interview him
4. how they got together in the Luthor world (please ignore the comic canon that has him cheating on her with Chloe)
Lois/Tess: I fell for these two immediately after their first scene in "Odyssey". I have to admit I had my doubts on Tess because she seemed like too much of a Lex replacement but I was won over right away and I shipped these two a lot. They had such chemistry right off the bat and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU, where they have each other's initials. I imagine that with all the people with LL, it might get confusing, and Lois would not even know Tess's name is Lutessa so maybe she doesn't even think it could be her
2. Lois meets Tess before she ends up on the island
3. Lois gets roped into participating in a charity auction; Tess bids on/wins.
Lana/Tess: They may not have had many scenes together but what they did have sold me on the chemistry and potential. Both of them are complicated and want to do what is right/be the hero (Tess has obviously had more stumbles than Lana) and they were each manipulated by Lex at some point. I think they would get along if they spent time in later seasons together, especially after Tess switches sides.
Prompts:
1. they wake up in Vegas, married
2. accidental soulbond when they touch an artifact they found while working together
3. different first meeting- Tess shows up to Smallville when Lex is still alive and meets Lana
Suits:
Other Ships I Like (for background): Louis/Sheila, Rachel/Logan Sanders (if he isn't a bad guy), Donna/any canon relationship that isn't Harvey
Friendships/Gen: Harvey & Donna, Harvey & Edith, Harvey & Louis, Harvey & Jessica, Donna & Jessica, Donna & Rachel, Mike & Rachel, Mike & Edith, Jessica & Rachel, Louis & Rachel, Louis & Donna
Donna/Rachel: I like their friendship but ship them too - the way they value each other and how even when they fight, it is partly because they have an ability to be open and can call each other out, and they do end up making up. I loved their flashback to how they first met and how Donna speaks highly of her to Harvey. Just the best.
Prompts:
1. comfort after a disappointment or a celebration after something good happens leads to them kissing/having sex
2. they're in a secret relationship
3. trying to find time for dating in their busy schedules
Mike/Harvey: I loved the two of them so much. Mike really is the reason Harvey softened/started letting people in and the way they would go all out for each other made me melt. The loyalty is strong with these two and I'm here for every moment. I stopped watching after some point, and I do prefer earlier season fics but I'm fine with the fics being set in later seasons because I'm aware of the general plot (I know Mike goes to jail, etc).
Prompts:
1. Mike stays on as Louis's associate because he wants to keep his word and then him and Harvey pine for each other
2. they get married to avoid testifying against one another
3. they have a one night stand pre-canon
4. getting close while working late on a case
Rachel Zane: She was one of my favorite characters. I really related to her long term dream of wanting to go to law school, but just struggling with the test taking. She's bold, beautiful, really passionate about what she does and she doesn't really take anyone's BS. Also it is clear she is very competent too and is respected. I do wish she had held out a little longer with Mike than just the first episode so their drama didn't last as long, but I didn't stop enjoying her character (from at least what I saw), even when I was tired of her and Mike together.
Prompts:
1. canon divergence where she goes to Stanford
2. anything pre-canon
3. her relationship with her parents
Star Trek (AOS):
Other Ships I like (for background): Bones/Christine, Bones/Uhura, Bones/Carol Marcus, Gaila/Uhura, Amanda/Sarek
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the Enterprise command crew, Kirk & Bones, Spock & Amanda
James T. Kirk: I was intrigued by him in the 2009 movie - even when he was being a jerk, it was clear that there was more to him than that - and while I had mixed feelings on ID, I thought he really showed a lot of growth by Beyond and became the Captain that he was meant to be.
Prompts:
1. AU where George Kirk didn't die
2. learning to be a Captain
3. anything mission related
4. reconnecting with his mom
Spock: Spock is so interesting! He wants to be pure Vulcan and logic but it is clear he has a lot of pent up emotions. I liked seeing the glimpse of his childhood, even when I felt really bad for him. He went through a lot, losing his mom and his planet and I am curious to see that grief and just more about him in general explored.
Prompts:
1. grief over losing his mom/planet
2. meeting/talking to Spock Prime
3. anything with hi childhood
4. keeping in touch with his father
Kirk/Spock: I'm a sucker for the frenemies to lovers dynamic, where the ship doesn't get along right away but has to work together and I loved it here too (I was definitely won over by the whole "see we're already getting to know each other" in XI). I liked how they had their own biases against one another and then they both ended up growing along the way and needing each other. While I had my issues with 'Into Darkness', Spock getting emotional over Kirk's death and going nuts on Khan does get to me.
Prompts:
1. Kirk jokingly proposes to Spock, but the media takes it seriously
2. one or both of them is flirting with the other and they just don't realize it (ex: Kirk flirting with Spock and Spock dismissing it as the way Kirk always is)
3. Kirk time travels and ends up saving Amanda
4. they meet as kids (maybe Amanda and Winona were/are friends) and keep in touch
Ted Lasso:
Fandom DNW: Nate Shelley bashing/comeuppance centric, Sam/Rebecca - either together or her having used him as a substitute for Ted
Other Ships I like (for background): the Higgins, Sam/Dani, Sam/Dani/Jamie, Colin/Michael
Friendships/Gen: any combo of AFC Richmond players, Ted & Beard, Ted & Roy, Ted & Jamie, Roy Beard, Roy & Jamie, Rebecca & Higgins, Rebecca & Keeley, Rebecca & Nora, Rebecca & Sassy
Keeley Jones: I really love her. She's just so fun, sassy, and kind. She's very caring and loyal but also will speak up when she has to (as she did with Rebecca). I was excited to see her build her own business and disappointed that the show kept having her suffer so much in s3. I think she definitely deserved better to keep getting hurt and have her heart broken multiple times.
Prompts:
1. happier times running her company
2. anything pre-canon
3. hanging out with Rebecca (and/or Sassy)
Keeley/Roy: I just loved their relationship on the show. How they came together, and how they communicate and make it over their hurdles and how *into* each other they were. Also so supportive and reassuring. Really adorable. I was very sad about their breakup in s3 but I like to imagine that they can still find their way back to one another. I'm fine with fics set at any point or AUs where they didn't break up at all.
Prompts:
1. Keeley ends up winning Roy in the auction
2. Roy finds a time/way to propose and now they have to plan the wedding
3. taking Phoebe trick or treating
Keeley/Roy/Jamie: I like the potential of these three. Roy and Jamie have come so far, Roy and Keeley are adorable, and of course Keeley and Jamie's friendship is great too. Especially in the second half of season 2 and season 3. They were literally in a triangle at one point and how they were laughing together and seemed to fit just made it feel like they could easily go in that direction. I was annoyed at the show having that weird fight between Roy & Jamie, especially at that point and after Jamie specifically said he wouldn't get in their way last season, but at least Keeley shut it down. The ending felt very open to the three of them being together too.
Prompts:
1. post canon- there's some misunderstanding and it ends up with Roy going on a date with another guy who looks like Jamie. Keeley and Jamie are jealous
2. Roy gets amnesia and becomes more like he was in his early twenties; Keeley and Jamie find it hot
3. date night
Sam/Jamie: The casual way Jamie drapes himself over Sam now and how far they've come really has sold me on the potential of this ship. The contrast between their relationship with their fathers is also intriguing. I like how that since Jamie hurt Sam worse than others, he had to work harder to win back his trust and forgiveness and now they're at this point where Sam is one of Jamie's closest friends. Jamie wearing Sam's number and Sam being comfortable enough to flip Jamie off is delightful.
Prompts:
1. for some reason, it gets around that Sam and Jamie are together and when Jamie's dad calls him, he doubles down and ends up revealing they're engaged when they're not even together. Sam goes along with it
2. didn't realize it was a date
3. friends with benefits turns into real feelings
Ted/Rebecca: I liked the idea of them in s1 but I really fell for them in s2. They've come along so far and even if there were episodes where they didn't directly interact as much or at all, they were clearly still in each other's lives, I especially liked how Rebecca was the one to notice Ted was having a panic attack or the moments during Rebecca's father's funeral, like Ted being the one to pick up the song and remind Rebecca of a happy moment of her father. I also thought their faces when they seemed shocked/confused at being so in sync was a good jumping off point for a realization of feelings.
Prompts:
1. Ted's already divorced when he gets the Richmond job and has a one night stand before his first day of work and it turns out that it was Rebecca
2. celebrating Halloween (or any other holiday) together
3. they miss each other after Ted goes back to Kansas and how they gradually find their way back

3. they miss each other after Ted goes back to Kansas and how they gradually find their way back
Thanks again! :D
