I do wonder if the lack of Rory/Jess was because of the actors and their previous break-up. I also wonder if the idea of this was that Rory discovers she's pregnant Logan, by her version of Christopher, and we're supposed to assume she goes on to end up with her version of Luke, which would be Jess? Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, but if history is going to repeat itself, she would ultimately be with the guy who's pined for her forever and who, in her heart, she always knew she should end up with, right?
