Lana my beloved! This is great. I loved her immediately, but I always felt like her future was so much bigger than Smallville too. Her lack of close friends at the beginning really demonstrated how much of her life was just focused on image/being successful enough to get out Smallville instead of actually being connected to people - and her loneliness even while living with her Aunt was always such an interesting theme to me.
