I agree, the world is definitely getting more competitive. Probably because there are more and more humans taking up space, fighting like rats in a sack over territory. Lack of community, lack of support and empathy are making life too hard.
I read a comment that said something along the lines of: 'the greatest compliment a parent can have is for their adult children to like them'. I hope my daughter does, she bought me a red lap tray with a pattern of poppies on the other day. Just because she thought I'd like it. How sweet 💝
