It really is a popular sentiment and it's nice that fandom can provide that escape. And same! I remember the peak LJ days too. I never watched Lost, but people I knew did and I remember it being big online too.

True! And yo are way more likely to find someone who wants to talk in depth about the ships, characters, plots, and themes online than you are if you are in real life.
