Fandom DNW: buck/tommy (outside of past/canon history), tommy bashing (criticism over his canon behavior/actions is fine but no extremes, like him portrayed as suddenly becoming an abusive bf/ex)/the idea he was actually interested in eddie first, buck being woobified at the expense of other characters (eddie being overly harsh during/post lawsuit, chim/bobby/maddie bashing, etc), buck being treated like a better dad to christopher than eddie, buck having custody of christopher pre-canon (aus where buddie already know each other or are together and eddie is off in the army is fine), buck/shannon
Other Ships I like (for background, if necessary): Bobby/Athena, May/Ravi, Ravi/Albert, May/Adriana, anything that doesn't break up the requested ships or the other ones listed here
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the 118, Eddie & Shannon, Eddie & Adriana & Sophia, Eddie & May, Eddie & Karen, Eddie & Linda, Eddie & Carla, Eddie & his abuela, Eddie & Pepa, Buck & Pepa, Buck & Jee, Buck & May, Maddie & Athena, Maddie & Hen & Karen, Maddie & Jee
Buck & Christopher: I love their relationship. They not only love each other, but the fact that Christopher knows that he can rely on Buck when he's in trouble - he can go to him when he's mad at his dad or when he needs someone to call to help his dad says so much. Also Buck isn't just the cool "fun" uncle - when Chris runs away, he calls Eddie, he backs Eddie when he pulls the plug on the tech, and he even is good about negotiating cookies after dinner, to name a few instances. Their reunion was one of my favorite parts about 8.17. I didn't think we'd see them on screen together in s8 and I was so happy to be wrong. Also it is both adorable and funny that Chris and Buck still have such a strong physical resemblance.
Prompts:
1. Them finding their standing after Christopher moves back, especially since it seems that Chris iced Buck out too (well, according to both Gavin & Oliver). Or maybe attempts on Buck's part to keep in touch and responses that Chris didn't send
2. Buck and Christopher over the years - from their first meeting to Chris asking Buck things/questions he can't with his dad
3. post s7 where Eddie is at Shannon's grave and is all "I think it would've been better for Christopher if I had died instead" and then makes it real. Buck and Chris are the only ones who remember the world as it was before and they team up to figure it out
Buck & Maddie: They're such good siblings and I love them so much. Their shared bond and how Maddie pretty much raised Buck really gets to me. They both deserved so much more from their parents. I love how they can tease and be playful but also they can be there for one another and tell it to each other straight when needed. He was her first kid! And they know it! Also the pinky swear ritual they have is very cute!
Prompts:
1. Maddie leaves with Buck when he asks her, or she takes him with her when she leaves instead of marrying Doug
2. moments from Buck's childhood
3. they both experience a NDE together and they have to fight to stay alive/get out of the bad situation
Evan "Buck" Buckley/Eddie Diaz: They're my OTP and I love everything about them. From the initial hostility to their quick friendship and easy chemistry. The way they react to (almost) losing each other. I love how important they are to one another, how they've clashed (and I don't blame one side for the lawsuit mess or getting caught up with their respective grief in 8.17) and come back, and how they support each other in ways they can't get from anyone else (here for Eddie telling Buck that he didn't owe his parents an apology). I'm so soft for the fact that Eddie told Buck on the balcony scene about how Maddie is the one that needs to be taken care of and then ten episodes later, Buck is breaking down Eddie's door and taking care of him. And how supportive Eddie was of Buck coming out! Though Buck's face when Eddie says nothing is going to change does live in my head rent free because he says "it's a relief" but doesn't look it. Same with Eddie when Buck's all "I can't stop thinking about him". :D Even when they didn't know what was going on with each other in 8.17, Buck was dreaming about a family dinner in the beginning and by the end, that's exactly what Eddie gave him. On the same page even when they're not. I'm fine with mentions of Buck/Tommy but in canon divergences in s7/post s7/early s8 fics, I'd rather them be mostly off screen and please no blatant Tommy (or Shannon/Ana/Taylor/Marisol) bashing stories either. I don't want him to be a cheerleader for Buddie or the blatant villain either (a minimal/non existent role is ideal).
Prompts:
1. Eddie gets Hanahaki (I could see it after the graveyard scene in s6 or even after he leaves for Texas but whatever part in canon or an AU fits is good!)
2. childhood friends AU where Buck and his family move to El Paso and he runs into Eddie soon after
3. Eddie left to Austin when he was 18 to pursue music, met Buck at a bar, and the two of them had an intense relationship until he found out that Shannon was trying to reach him/was pregnant. Buck disappeared the next morning. Years later, Eddie is a famous/rising singer and they run into each other again while he's recording an album in LA
Christopher & Eddie: Their relationship is so precious to me - definitely one of my favorites on the show. I love how patient and openly affectionate and loving Eddie is with Chris and how Chris is such a great kid, but is also not infallible, as we've seen him lash out and snap. Neither of them are perfect but they learn and grow together. I was happy to see them back together in 8B (even if I was disappointed we never saw them get into the real reason Chris left) and how despite being on uncertain terms, Chris trusted his father enough that he could tell him about how much he hated chess. And Eddie 'dad'd up'! :D
Prompts:
1. Talking on the five hour drive from Lubbock back to El Paso and slowly fixing their relationship, both pre and post the chess match
2. moments right after they moved to LA
3. visiting Shannon's grave over the years
Eddie Diaz: He is my favorite character on the show. He is kind, empathetic (I loved how he wanted to really try with Abigail recently), and so competent. Even when he makes mistakes, he does his best to over come them and I love what a good dad he is to Christopher and how hard he's tried to break the cycle. Also the reveal of him being a competitive ballroom dancer brought me a lot of joy.
Prompts:
1. Eddie finds himself after Christopher leaves to Texas - therapy, relearning some interests, etc or maybe he has to adjust after he comes *back* from Texas, with Buck moving out and Chris having a busy social life
2. Eddie's relationship with his sisters over - I am so curious about it, since he was apparently taking care of them growing up (I know he might be the middle child with the one line implying Sophia applied to college first and how he tried to drive his mom to the hospital when she went into labor but I do see him as an eldest child). Are they still close? Or maybe they resent that he left?
3. AU where Eddie went to Station 6 and how that changes everything
Hen Wilson/Karen Wilson: They're so cute! I feel for all they've been through, with their relationship and the kids, and I'm always happy to see them come out stronger on the other side. They really support one another, but can also be upfront and say what needs to be said. I love that they got to adopt Mara, though I'm sad it got pushed to the end of that episode instead of getting more of a focus.
Prompts:
1. Karen is an actress and Hen is the paramedic that ends up on the set after there is an accident (or she's a director of Karen's latest movie!)
2. Hen and Karen got a divorce after Hen cheated and how they find their way back together
3. they meet on a reality TV show (ex: Karen could be the bachelorette and Chim signed Hen up)
Maddie & Eddie: I really wish we could see them interact. As much as I'm glad that they didn't go through with the original plan to have them get together, I do believe they could be friends. There's definitely some parallels and similarities, between how they are the older siblings who were given added responsibilities too early and some of their struggles and could support/advise each other in a different way.
Prompts:
1. Maddie is still at Dispatch when Eddie joins and they get to know each other (I'm here for the cliche wine nights with them + Karen + Athena + anyone else who you think fits, like Josh)
2. they meet pre both of them showing up in LA and end up in a marriage of convenience
3. DWTS AU where Eddie is one of the dancers and Maddie is a contestant (maybe some special first responders edition or she is an actress/singer trying to find some joy/revitalize her career after Doug - her controlling ex husband/manager - ruined it)
Maddie Buckley/Howard "Chimney" Han: They're the best and I'm so glad that JLH suggested Maddie be with Chimney because they're really perfect for one another. I love how they connected immediately - amazing chemistry from the jump - and then they became friends while clearly falling for one another (karaoke my beloved). They've been through so much together and separately but they have found their well deserved happy ending with one another. I'd say they deserve a break but they are very good at being in pain so unfortunately they won't get one.
Prompts:
1. moments of almost meeting over the years
2. canon divergence where Maddie ends up in LA before Buck and then meets Chimney during an emergency or Maddie goes to LA instead of to Boston with Doug and again, connects with Chimney sooner
3. she owns a bookstore and he owns the tattoo parlor next door (or any other 'shop AU that you feel fits!)
Crossover Fandom
fandom dnw: bashing canon love interests (Lois, Rory, Steve, etc)
Arthur Curry (Aquaman 2006)/Clark Kent (Smallville): I won't pretend that Justin Hartley playing AC doesn't have a part of this. I love their chemistry and ship them on Smallville for sure. But I also was interested in what I saw of the Aquaman TV show and thought it did have a lot of potential. I'm not totally sorry it didn't work out because it did bring JH to Smallville and his Oliver is my favorite, but also I genuinely do wish we could've seen more and I think Clark and AC, who both had to find about their own pasts and discover who they are would really understand each other. You can handwave Smallville AC if you would like, if you want to have them meet after s5.
Prompts:
1. AU where Krypton doesn't explode and they end up in an arranged marriage as a means to bring about understanding between their worlds
2. Clark rescues AC or vice versa.
3. AC is Smallville Oliver's long lost twin or vice versa and that's how he meets Clark
James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU)/Eddie Diaz (9-1-1): I just think it'd be neat and not because his nickname is similar to Eddie's best friend. They're both vets with a snarky sense of humor who have been through some stuff but come out of the other end still kind and good. I think it would just be fun and I could see them both being slightly amused at the nickname thing - I could see Eddie preferring to call Bucky "James" but it would work both ways. I don't ship Stucky though so I would rather not have them connect because they're both pining over their respective best friends. I also don't ship Buck/Tommy or care for Tommy, but I'm okay them as a very minor/background ship - like mentions of them. Example: the reason Bucky and Eddie meet somewhere when Eddie is alone is because Buck had a date, but I'd rather they didn't have a focus/presence, such as Buck and Tommy setting Eddie up or double dates and the like. Also fine with Buck with Taylor, but the same thing applies.
Prompts:
1. Bucky rescues Eddie and then disappears before Eddie can thank him
2. military AU where they're both in the army at the same time and connect (I don't want Eddie to cheat on Shannon but slight emotional infidelity, like he is aware he's developing feelings for Bucky is fine)
3. after Eddie is shot and saved, a doctor gives him an experimental drug when he's on the verge of death and he develops powers
James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU)/Evan "Buck" Buckley (9-1-1)/Eddie Diaz (9-1-1): Basically see above and add Buck. I definitely think Buck and Bucky would enjoy trolling the rest of the 118 a little bit but also if Eddie and Bucky get together or become friends first, Buck would definitely be thrown off and I wouldn't be surprised if his abandonment issues kick in.
Prompts:
1. Buck and Bucky are both on the same football/baseball team and Eddie is newly signed/traded
2. Bucky and Eddie get together when Buck is still with Tommy and after those two breakup, Buck ends up spending more time with the two them and develops feelings (which of course are mutual)
3. Buck and Eddie always had childhood crushes on Bucky Barnes and then end up actually meeting him
James T. Kirk (ST:AOS)/Diana Prince (DCEU): Of course, again, the fact that Kirk is played by Chris Pine and I ship Diana/Steve does play a part, but I think that specific angst makes it more interesting. Kirk and Steve are very different and I imagine it would be jarring to see someone with Steve's face but nothing like Steve for Diana. I love both characters a lot and I can see Kirk flirting with Diana, getting the brush off, but somehow, being even more intrigued. Diana would probably initially want to keep her distance from this Steve doppleganger but it would be interesting if she couldn't stay away and liked Kirk for his own merits.
Prompts:
1. Kirk has to change his playboy reputation and Diana is the person who agrees to fake date him (maybe she is shaken by the fact he looks like Steve and thinks this will be a way for her to realize Kirk is not him but falls for who he actually is)
2. Diana works with the Enterprise crew on a mission and/or ends up saving Kirk
3. Diana is an artist and Kirk is a model. I can see him being flirty and her wanting to be professional but somehow charmed
Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)/Peyton Sawyer (One Tree Hill): For some reason, I'm really fascinated with the idea of these two. They're both interested in music and while Peyton isn't as big a reader as Jess is, I think they would get along, after maybe initially being snarky and clashing if they met when they're teenagers.
Prompts:
1. Jess ends up in Tree Hill instead of Stars Hollow when his mom sends him away
2. they end up at the same bar after Lucas marries Lindsay - one night stand turns into something more
3. Peyton's label has signed Lane's band and they meet through them (maybe at a show)
Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls)/Lucas Scott (One Tree Hill): I thought they had chemistry when CMM played Tristan but I think character wise, Lucas would be much more fitting for Rory. Even though Lucas plays basketball, they both love to read and love music and are a bit more on the reserved/introverted side. Also they were both raised by single moms and have a couple of issues with their father (though Dan is definitely worse than Christopher).
Prompts:
1. She interviews him when he's promoting one of his novels
2. Lucas ends up going to Yale and they meet there
3. they run into each other after their schools play in a basketball game
Gilmore Girls
Fandom DNW: Rory bashing/shaming, Jess "showing up" other characters (especially Rory's exes and Christopher), Emily and Richard getting treated as if they didn't do anything wrong
Other Ships I like (for background): Paris/Doyle, Paris/Jamie, Sookie/Jackson, Richard/Emily. I'm also fine with Lane/Zach if you want to set it in the later seasons
Friendships/Gen: Jess & Lane, Jess & Luke, Jess & Paris, Jess & April, Jess & Doula, Jess & Lily, Rory & Lane, Rory & Lorelai, Rory & Paris, Rory & April, Rory & Richard, Rory & Emily, Rory & Luke, Lorelai & Sookie, Lorelai & Emily, Lorelai & Richard, Lorelai & Paris
Lane/Dave: I really loved these two together. Lane is one of my favorite characters- she's funny, daring and loyal- and Dave was such a good guy. The way he was willing to go along with the secrecy even when it was complicated for them to see each other and read the whole Bible just to figure out what Mrs Kim meant was so great. I know they didn't work out because Adam Brody left to go on the OC but I wish it had. They seemed to really make each other happy.
Prompts:
1. after Lane gets kicked out, she finds her way to California and meets up with Dave
2. meeting at a music festival (either as guests or being in different bands)
3. Lane is working at Luke's and Dave is a frequent customer who is part of a band. One day, they need a replacement drummer.
Luke/Lorelai: One of my favorite friends to lovers ships. I really liked how they bantered and were there for each other, even in s7 when they were broken up. Plus there were tons of 'almost' moments and signs of feelings before they were able to admit it. And denial was another fun aspect of this ship too! Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I like AUs, fics set during any point of the show, the Revival or anything in between.
Prompts:
1. post s7 where they get back together and work out their issues and plan a wedding eventually (I'm good with them having more kids - the twins in Lorelai's dream! - or deciding they're happy with the ones they have)
2. they break up in early s7 but Lorelai doesn't back together with Chris and they're apart while pining
3. Lorelai ends up on the cruise with Luke and they're the ones who get married, instead of Luke and Nicole
Luke & Jess: Their relationship was one of my favorites on the show. I love how they went from neither of them really wanting to be around each other, as Luke did take him in because he had to, and were both reluctant and then Luke showed how much he did love Jess and Jess realized that Luke cared about him/was grateful for it. I was happy to see that their relationship was still as such a solid place in the Revival and how Jess was now there for Luke when he needed it. So good.
Prompts:
1. Luke gets custody of Jess when he's a kid (or Liz & Jess move back to Stars Hollow together)
2. the two of them keeping touch after Jess leaves in s4/Jess telling Luke about his book
3. moments they had pre-canon
Lorelai & Rory: I really loved this mother/daughter relationship. It wasn't perfect but that makes it all that more interesting. Lorelai did her best to give Rory a good life and prioritize her and it was very clear that Rory appreciated all the sacrifices her mom made for her.
Prompts:
1. Rory goes to Harvard instead of Yale and how they adjust
2. Rory and Lorelai never leave the Gilmore house and what differences that makes for them and their relationship
3. moments over the years, starting at pre-canon and going through Rory learning to be a mother herself
Paris/Rory: My favorite rivals to friends (to lovers) ship! Paris is a great character and I love her dynamics with Rory. Rory was so patient with her in the early seasons- she was able to stand up to Paris when necessary but also was open to listening her to and being there for her when she needed a shoulder. That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.
Prompts:
1. post GG Revival; Paris helps out Rory through her pregnancy and they develop feelings
2. AU where Rory grew up with her grandparents and how that changes her relationship with Paris (if it does) as they grow up together
3. friends with benefits/casual sex turns into real feelings
Rory/Jess: These two are one of my favorite ships. Some people like to read but for Rory and Jess, it is more than that, which is why their shared passion is so important. They found a connection with someone else who understood them. Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department. What I don't like though is that people acting like Rory doesn't deserve Jess or she has fallen too far off in the Revival. Sure she made mistakes but just like Rory accepted Jess, I don't think he would judge her for it and it's clear in canon he still believes in her. Another thing I love about them.
Prompts:
1. Rory and Jess don't break up at the end of s3 and try a long distance relationship while Jess figures out his life
2. Jess ends up getting closer to Rory post Revival with her book and unintentionally ends up helping with the pregnancy/baby
3. anything set during s3 - the show referred to their regular dates but we didn't see it! So movie nights, going to the bookstore, etc
Heated Rivalry
Shane Hollander/Ilya Rozanov: I fell fast and hard for these two. I read the second book, but haven't read the sixth one and I enjoyed the relationship there, but the show really brought it to the next level, with the chemistry Hudson and Connor have.
Prompts:
1. Ilya comes down with Hanahaki after the tuna melt scene or Shane gets it after the "we didn't kiss" moment
2. While Shane is dating Rose, Ilya finds out that one of his hookups was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter and now he has full custody.
3. Ilya's father dies when he is young and he ends up moving to Ottawa with his mom and brother when he is a child and meets Shane
MCU
fandom dnw: Steve/Steve's Endgame ending bashing (feel free to ignore), rehash of CW debate with bias toward one side (I'm on Team Cap but I don't want to go over it again), past/present/unrequited Steve/Bucky or Steve/Sam, focus on Zemo, Bucky only having flirted with Sarah to make Sam jealous
Other Ships I like (for background, if necessary): Bruce/Betty, Bucky/Darcy, Bucky/Sam/Natasha, Bucky/Sam/Rhodey, Clint/Coulson, Clint/Laura, Maria/Natasha, Maria/Sharon, Natasha/Clint/Coulson, Natasha/Peggy, Natasha/Pepper, Natasha/Rhodey, Natasha/Sam, Natasha/Sharon, Natasha/T'Challa, Nebula/Rhodey, Carol/Rhodey, Sam/Rhodey, Sam/Erik Killmonger, Sam/T'Challa, T'Challa/Nakia, T'Challa/M'Baku, Thor/Jane, Thor/Sif, Tony/Pepper
Friendships/Gen: anything that's listed in the ship section, Steve & Bucky, Steve & Sam, Steve & Natasha, any combo of the Avengers, Tony & Rhodey, Jane & Darcy
Bucky/Natasha: I haven't read the comics but I think the potential of these two is intriguing. They both have darkish pasts that they struggle to go past and want to make the right choices. Both have a dry sense of humor and I feel like Natasha would enjoy teasing Bucky the way she does Steve. Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU.
Prompts:
1. Bucky is a famous actor who has a stalker and Natasha is the person assigned to protect him
2. Natasha time travels for a mission and ends up meeting Bucky preWS
3. Natasha is a figure skater who needs a new partner and that ends up being Bucky
Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. I like the what ifs after TWS to anything set during or after TFATWS. I have not seen Captain America: Brave New World or Thunderbolts, though I will see the former before reveals so you can include anything from that movie. Complete AUs are fun too.
Prompts:
1. Sam runs his family's restaurant and Bucky owns the tattoo shop next door
2. The Lakehouse AU where they're in the same house in different times and communicating via letter. I could see Bucky as an architect and Sam as a doctor but you are welcome to choose different professions for them
3. Sam and Bucky are the ones to survive the snap and they have to learn to get along/figure out what to do next
Peggy/Steve: I really loved them in TFA- the way Steve was amused at Peggy immediately and Peggy being interested in pre-serum Steve just won me over. Tons of UST. This is the ship I truly didn't think I would see together again, even though I appreciated all the moments of Steve loving Peggy in the present day and Peggy still loving Steve in Agent Carter so for them to get their dance and a happy ending in one timeline made me really happy.
Prompts:
1. they work for different spy agencies
2. moments after Steve time travels back in Endgame and they reunite
3. instead of dying in CACW, Peggy finds that she's deaged
Steve/Tony: I really fell for them in the first Avengers movie. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.
Prompts:
1. Steve and Tony end up having to work together after the Snap
2. Tony notices Old!Steve at points (who just misses Tony and wants to see him) and figures out what happened, changing their timeline and future
3. artist!Steve + Tony as his muse

Other ships I like: Jason/Kat, Jason/Trini, Billy/Trini, Adam/Rocky, Adam/Rocky/Aisha, basically anything that doesn't break my dnws or the requested ship
Kimberly/Tommy: This was my 'shipped before I knew what shipping was' ship. The original OTP. I just loved Kim as a kid and Tommy felt like such a dashing knight in shining armor. I thought they were really sweet together. I like how she's just so compassionate and caring but can also kick butt and is really there for the ones she cares about and how he's a great guy with his own insecurities. I would love anything from the show to the '95 movie (which I used to rewatch all the time as a kid) to set post breakup.
1. post letter; Tommy gets hurt and has amnesia, thinking he and Kim are still together
2. running into each other and reconnecting as adults
3. Kimberly teaches gymnastics and Tommy teaches karate next door. Or maybe Tommy's niece/nephew or even he's a single parent whose kid takes lessons
Smallville
Fandom DNW: Arrowverse characters/fanon ships, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' (good with Clark and Lois having twins/being married in Clois fics, but not with him permanently giving up his powers)
Other Ships I like (for background): Martha/Jonathan, Lois/Kara, Kara/Jimmy, Kara/Lana, Kara/Chloe, Oliver/Dinah, Oliver/Chloe, Chloe/Victor, Chloe/George Dean (guy she was with in Apocalypse AU), Chloe/Lana, Chloe/Bart, Bart/Mia, AC/Mera, Lex/Lana (as long as he doesn't go evil), Lana/Jason (again, as long as he doesn't go evil), Tess/Emil
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the SV Justice League, Clark & Jonathan & Martha, Clark & Kara, Clark & Lana, Clark & Lois, Clark & Oliver, Clark & Lex, Clark & Tess, Lois & Lana, Lois & Oliver, Lois & Martha, Oliver & Mia, Oliver & Tess
Clark/Lois: A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. Lois getting close to Clark's parents even before they were together (and how they love her) is another point that I appreciated. I like anything set during canon or divergences or post canon (or in that seven year gap) or complete AUs. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.
Prompts:
1. Lois doesn't come back when she leaves in s4 and they run into each other at the Daily Planet as adults
2. Clark goes through the portal at the end of Salvation; how they deal with their separation and their eventual reunion
3. "Noir" AU - I always felt this episode was a waste of potential and wish they had interacted more or really at all. It was Jimmy's dream! So maybe Detective Clark needs singer!Lois's help for a story (or possibly she's undercover herself all along)
Clark/Lois/Oliver: My OT3. While I love the individual ships in it, I also love the dynamic they have as a trio. We didn't get to see as many scenes with just them as I would've liked but the ones were got were really great. They really balance one another out. Each of them has something in common with one of the others (Clark with Ollie, Clark with Lois, Lois with Ollie) but they're different enough to really make it interesting. I'm good with the three of them getting together at the same time or two of them already being together and including the third.
Prompts:
1. Oliver's around when Clark and Lois break into his apartment in "Crimson" and they seduce him
2. Oliver hangs out with Lois & Clark post Green Arrow reveal and has feelings for both of them
3. Oliver and Lois have gotten back together/never broken up and he notices the chemistry between Clark & Lois. Then he realizes Clark is into him too and makes a plan (after consulting Lois); bonus: he and Clark kissed as a distraction and he wasn't able to stop thinking about it
Clark/Oliver: Another OTP. I didn't expect to fall for them as hard as I did in s6 but I just loved their dynamic. The push and pull and the way they had this ultimate respect for one another was great but then it grew in s8-10. It was tough watching them fight but I did like how they always came back together, and even when they didn't agree, they cared about each other with Clark always believing Oliver was better and Oliver reminding Clark that the Kandorians weren't the only family that he had. One of my favorite moments was when Clark said that he hadn't quit on Oliver Queen in "Echo". One thing I do ask if that if you choose to set it in the later seasons that Lois doesn't get hurt. I am fine with handwaving the Clois romance rather than her having unrequited feelings or them breaking up because I adore her/don't want to see her hurt and I love Clois.
Prompts:
1. Clark pretends to be Oliver's fiance/husband to see him in the hospital, only to find out that Oliver has amnesia and now thinks they're together
2. Oliver hits Clark in the pilot instead of Lex. I can't imagine him really wanting to spend time with a teenager so maybe they just end up running into each other over and over again
3. Clark meets Oliver during his red k summer and Oliver invites him on his yacht so they both land up on the island
Lois/Lana: They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. They clearly get along very well and they had some good chemistry to which I can see them being a couple. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. On that note, please don't make Clark the villain or have them hook up because one or both are pining over him.
Prompts:
1. Lois doesn't get kicked out of college and then she needs a roommate
2. Lana meets Lois in Paris instead of Jason
3. Lana keeps her powers and rescues Lois, who is curious about the new hero in town
Lois/Tess: I fell for these two immediately after their first scene in "Odyssey". I have to admit I had my doubts on Tess because she seemed like too much of a Lex replacement but I was won over right away and I shipped these two a lot. They had such chemistry right off the bat and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU, where they have each other's initials. I imagine that with all the people with LL, it might get confusing, and Lois would not even know Tess's name is Lutessa so maybe she doesn't even think it could be her
2. Lois meets Tess before she ends up on the island
3. The Proposal AU where Lois had to pretend to be Tess's fiancee/get married to her
Lana/Tess: They may not have had many scenes together but what they did have sold me on the chemistry and potential. Both of them are complicated and want to do what is right/be the hero (Tess has obviously had more stumbles than Lana) and they were each manipulated by Lex at some point. Lana already believed in Tess when they met in s8 and I think they would get along even better if they spent time in later seasons together, especially after Tess switches sides.
Prompts:
1. they wake up in Vegas, married
2. accidental soulbond when they touch an artifact they found while working together
3. different first meeting- Tess shows up to Smallville when Lex is still alive and meets Lana
Star Trek (AOS)
fandom dnw: Kirk/Spock Prime (Spock Prime somehow reunited with his Kirk is fine)
Other Ships I like (for background): Bones/Christine, Bones/Uhura, Bones/Carol Marcus, Gaila/Uhura, Amanda/Sarek
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the Enterprise command crew, Kirk & Bones, Spock & Amanda
Kirk/Spock: I'm a sucker for the frenemies to lovers dynamic, where the ship doesn't get along right away but has to work together and I loved it here too (I was definitely won over by the whole "see we're already getting to know each other" in XI). I liked how they had their own biases against one another and then they both ended up growing along the way and needing each other. While I had my issues with 'Into Darkness', Spock getting emotional over Kirk's death and going nuts on Khan does get to me.
Prompts:
1. they meet on an anonymous app or forum and connect
2. Kirk time travels and ends up saving Amanda
3. they meet as kids (maybe Amanda and Winona were/are friends) and keep in touch
Superman (2025)
Friendships/Gen: Clark & Krypto, Clark & Kara, Lois & Krypto, Lois & Jimmy, Clark & Jimmy & Lois, Clark & Jimmy, Clark & Mister Terrific, Clark & Jonathan & Martha
Clark/Lois: I absolutely loved these two! There was so much chemistry and the movie really gave me the dynamic that I'm looking for. I like how Lois is unsure about being in a relationship/can't really commit while Clark can be defensive and got a shock when be willing to give Lois an interview meant that he would actually get full Lois as reporter and wasn't actually ready for it. The banter and the cuteness and how even when she wasn't sure what they were (or was ready to break up with him), she showed up for him! And he was so happy/in awe of that!
Prompts:
1. rumors about the two of them once Lois gets an actual interview with Superman (a funny one would be that Superman dumped/left Clark Kent for Lois Lane)
2. pre-canon with how the two of them started dating/Lois found out about his secret
3. anything with them working on a story and chasing down leads (maybe she has to even create a distraction for Superman to show up)
Ted Lasso
fandom dnw: sam/rebecca - together or bashing/rebecca using sam as a replacement for ted, nate bashing/focus on his comeuppance
Other Ships I like (for background): Keeley/Rebecca, The Higgins, Sam/Dani, Sam/Jamie, Colin/Michael, Colin/Isaac
Friendships/Gen: any combo of AFC Richmond players, Ted & Beard, Ted & Roy, Ted & Jamie, Roy Beard, Roy & Jamie, Roy & Phoebe, Jamie & Phoebe, Rebecca & Higgins, Rebecca & Keeley, Rebecca & Nora, Rebecca & Sassy, Keeley & Jamie, Roy & his yoga mums
Keeley/Roy: I just loved their relationship on the show. How they came together, and how they communicate and make it over their hurdles and how *into* each other they were. Also so supportive and reassuring. Really adorable. I was very sad about their breakup in s3 but I like to imagine that they can still find their way back to one another. I'm fine with fics set at any point or AUs where they didn't break up at all.
Prompts:
1. Keeley ends up winning Roy in the auction
2. Roy finds a time/way to propose and now they have to plan the wedding
3. pre-canon to early canon where Keeley dates football players and Roy is secretly pining. Or maybe they did hook up once pre-canon and pretend it never happened
Keeley/Roy/Jamie: I like the potential of these three. Roy and Jamie have come so far, Roy and Keeley are adorable, and of course Keeley and Jamie's friendship is great too. Especially in the second half of season 2 and season 3. They were literally in a triangle at one point and how they were laughing together and seemed to fit just made it feel like they could easily go in that direction. I was annoyed at the show having that weird fight between Roy & Jamie, especially at that point and after Jamie specifically said he wouldn't get in their way toward the end of s2, but at least Keeley shut it down. The ending felt very open to the three of them being together too.
Prompts:
1. post canon- there's some misunderstanding (maybe Roy thinks Keeley & Jamie are back together) and it ends up with Roy going on a date with another guy who looks like Jamie. Keeley and Jamie are jealous
2. Roy gets amnesia and becomes more like he was in his early twenties; Keeley and Jamie find it hot
3. s3 AU where Keeley & Roy don't break up but they both end up closer to Jamie
Roy/Jamie: Their relationship came so far - from constantly getting in each other's face to Roy voluntarily training Jamie and Jamie choosing to check in on Roy after the breakup. I like how intense they were about each other back in s1 and there was just so much chemistry. The fact that Jamie admitted to having Roy's poster and then it was revealed that it was still on the wall in s3 was a delightful twist! Roy Kent always remains! :D Jamie is needy and Roy is clingy and I think they would balance each other perfectly in that sense. I did hate their fight (and they deserved to have Keeley shut the door in their face) but it is at least telling that they could brush past it and go back to get kebabs. I'm good with fics being set at any time period, pre, during, or post canon, but as someone who loves Keeley, and Roy/Keeley, I don't want Roy hurting her even further.
Prompts:
1. Roy opens a restaurant after he retires
2. Jamie comes out as bisexual and starts dating again, even finding a boyfriend, who seems perfect. Roy tries to be supportive in his grumpy way but also pines
3. trips they take together over the years
Ted/Rebecca: I liked the idea of them in s1 but I really fell for them in s2. They've come along so far and even if there were episodes where they didn't directly interact as much or at all, they were clearly still in each other's lives, I especially liked how Rebecca was the one to notice Ted was having a panic attack or the moments during Rebecca's father's funeral, like Ted being the one to pick up the song and remind Rebecca of a happy moment of her father. I also thought their faces when they seemed shocked/confused at being so in sync was a good jumping off point for a realization of feelings.
Prompts:
1. Ted's already divorced when he gets the Richmond job and has a one night stand before his first day of work and it turns out that it was Rebecca
2. Hallmark style AU where Rebecca ends up in Kansas after her divorce and meets Ted
3. they miss each other after Ted goes back to Kansas and how they gradually find their way back

MMPR
3. they miss each other after Ted goes back to Kansas and how they gradually find their way back
Thanks again! :D
