If the Oliver you like is the one ashamed of his killing urge...well, that one disappeared when he killed Lex, I think. Yeah, and did you see me freak after 'Requiem'? I thought he showed remorse though for that one in "Hex" and was heading back toward the Ollie I remember.
It's not about the necessity, it's about the redundancy in what he's saying. He KNOWS Clark won't kill and if he keeps pushing it, it's a waste of both their time. And mine.
I just don't see a point to the Ollie/Jimmy friendship. BOTH of them should be friends with Clark, not each other. I can understand that Ollie sympathizes since he went through the drug stint but their scenes don't feel natural to me.
Chloe is the new Lana. Her plots are more like something Lana would have.
