Posting later today, but it's still Tuesday for me so I made it! :)

Day 18: Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables)

I loved the Anne of Green Gables series when I was a kid, and I totally loved Anne's character from the get go. She was a chatterbox and a dreamer, and I could identify with both, though even I can't babble as much as Anne did in the beginning. Even though she was sensitive and could be vulnerable, she was also quite strong, and willing to defend the ones that she loved. It was nice to read her transition to from an impulsive child to a mature young woman.

This time, I remembered the 30 day meme!

Day 17: Jo March (Little Women)

Little Women is my favorite book and I've read it so many times that I've lost count. I love Jo. She was awesome and I liked that she knew what she wanted out of life. Even though I hated that she couldn't love Laurie and broke his heart, at least she was up front with her feelings and didn't mess around. Sure, she was stubborn, but nobody's perfect, right? I still wish she and Laurie ended up together, but that's what fanfic is for. ;)

All right, more of my female character meme! :D

Day 14: Ariadne (Inception)

I loved this movie and I thought Ariadne was awesome too! Ellen Paige was perfectly cast for the role. She was smart, creative and willing to take risks. I like how she helped Cobb face his demons and she was a great asset to the team. Plus, while I ship Arthur/Eames, I also thought Arthur/Ariadne was absolutely adorable too. JGL and she have lots of chemistry and the kissing scene was one of my favorites. As well as when Ariadne turns Paris upside down ... literally, lol. :D

day 13!

It's day 13 of my female character meme. I'm a little late posting today, but between hanging out with my friend and the Smallville watch, I got a little distracted. I've never tweeted as much as I have these past two days though! :D

Day 13: Martha Kent

Out of the two Kent parents, I preferred Martha. With a few exceptions, she was a great mother to Clark. I don't think he could've asked for better. Annette was the perfect choice, IMO. You have to be a strong woman to take in an alien child and raise him, while trying to make sure the wrong people don't notice him. Clark is as good as he is because the right people raised him. The summer after s3, she had to deal with the fact her husband was in a coma and her son was missing. Still, she didn't break. It was a mother's love that brought back Clark in 'Crusade'. I love how strong she is and admire her greatly. I can't wait to watch her episode in s9 and I hope we see her again in s10.

Another day of my female character meme. :D

Day 12: Alex Eames (Law & Order: CI)

I know that Bobby gets most of the attention, but Alex is still a great character. She may have her insecurities, but let's face it: Bobby wouldn't be as successful without her. There was a reason that she was the only one of his partners that worked out. Not only is she patient, she's strong, smart and knows how to handle Bobby best. They balance each other out, and she would do anything to protect those she loves. When she was given a promotion at the cost of firing Bobby, she did so (to save him of a trial), but then quit because it was clear she didn't want to work in a place that did that. CI hasn't been the same without her (and Bobby), and I have lost interest in watching.

It's another day of my female character meme. Still need to catch up in the alt!days for the SV one but that's for later.

Day 11: Haley James Scott (One Tree Hill)

I've loved Haley since the start. She's such a great character, and it's for her that Nathan changed as much as he did in season 1. Not only is she a good singer, she's also a great friend, wife, and mother to Jamie. I think she's one of the few characters who has been consistently good. Plus, while she's not normally violent, she will cut a bitch if they threaten anyone close to her.

Day 5 of my Female Character Meme!

Day 5: Brooke Davis

I don't watch OTH anymore, but Brooke was definitely my favorite female character (though Haley is a close second). I love Sophia Bush and I think she's a great actress. Out all the characters, I feel that Brooke had the most growth. As the season went on, she really changed and matured. Also, she reminds me a bit of Lois, which is probably another reason I love her so much.

Day 4!

Day 4 of the female character meme! I'm really enjoying this. :)

Day 4: Chandramukhi (Devdas)

Devdas is a Bollywood movie, and Chandramukhi is played by Madhuri Dixit (who I adore). She's a courtesan, but just an awesome character. Truth be told, I prefer her to Paro. I felt that Chandramukhi loved Devdas more, and I just wished throughout the film that he'd forget Paro and fall for her. I knew it was supposed to be a tragedy, but I felt so bad for her. She was kind, caring, and was really strong. No matter how much I love Shahrukh, she's my favorite character in the movie.

Day 3!

It's the third day of the Female Character Meme. While I like the question type meme, this is a bit easier to deal with and you don't have to think as much, which I do appreciate.

Day 3: Abby Sciuto (NCIS)

I love Abby! She's just really awesome on NCIS. I love her gothic style and her cheerful attitude. She can hold her own, which is always something I appreciate in female characters (like when she took down that creepy guy who tried to kidnap her), but at the same time, she has a soft side. Her relationship with Gibbs is sweet (I love their father/daughter bond), and the scene where she's freaking out and trying to convince the front desk woman to let her in to see Gibbs in the hospital is too hilarious! Though I seriously wish that she and McGee finally got their act together already.

Day 2!

It's Day 2 of the Female Character Meme!

Day 2: Lois Lane (Smallville)

Lois! She's my favorite female character in Smallville, and my second overall favorite character. TBH, I've loved the character of Lois since I was a kid, and Erica Durance has become my favorite portrayal of her. She's just so awesome- she's beautiful, smart, loyal, funny, and can kick butt! Sure, she's not perfect, and she knows it, but I love her, faults and all. Because when she screws up, people call her on it (e.g. 'Stiletto') and she knows when she does something wrong too.

Also, she's loyal to her friends and family, as shown several times over the course of the show. Not to mention, she does give good advice (e.g. 'Pariah' and 'Oracle'). She has a tough exterior, but inside, she's just as vulnerable as any of us. Lois is brave, reckless, and independent too. Her love for donuts and coffee makes her even more WIN! Definitely someone to admire and love!

30 Day Female Character Meme
Every day for thirty days you post about an awesome female character. Pictures! Recs! Squee! What's not to love?

Day 1:

Yes, she's a Disney princess but she's my favorite one! I've loved Jasmine since I was a little kid. I was even her twice for Halloween. In second grade, I was wearing her purple outfit and in third grade, I was wedding!Jasmine. I had an Aladdin sweater in elementary school and had my hair like hers, so my teacher used to call me 'Jasmine' every time I wore it.

What's not to love about her? She was independent, headstrong, confident, kickass, and even had a pet tiger. Not only was she intelligent, she was unafraid of adventure. This gal was no delicate doll! Plus, she got Aladdin in the end, which is not bad at all.
