Hey everyone! I hope you are surviving Monday! I'm doing much better than yesterday. A little while after I posted, I took some medicine and a nap and my headache was gone when I woke up, which made me happy. :)

Today, I'm going to take my laptop in to the Apple store to see whether or not they can just replace the port. If that doesn't work, I'll send it to my family friend, who's already offered. :)

Day 19 - A pairing you’ve rooted for since the beginning?

There are quite a few ships that I loved from the first moment I saw them together, but I finally picked one, after debating between two.



Rory and Jess from Gilmore Girls! I loved them so much and we all know they only split because Milo and Alexis did. I felt that Jess was the only one who really "got" her and I loved how when he came back, he was all mature. I cheered when he told her off for dropping out of Yale. HE got it, even when Logan didn't (I grew to like Logan, but he was never better than Jess). In my ending for GG, I think that Jess and Rory found each other again (probably at Luke/Lorelai's wedding, you know there will be one!) and reconnected. Two of my rl friends agree with my version btw. ;)

Day 20 - A song that you listen to when you’re angry

IDK, I like just listening to music when I am upset. It helps calm me down. Probably anything by The Fray and I'll go with the newest song I have fallen in love with from them, Syndicate.

How's everyone doing today on this lovely Friday afternoon? I'm GREAT ... because I'm FREEEE! Finals are OVER and I'm officially on summer vacation till September! WOHOOO! As you can tell, I'm VERY happy. One of my close friends is coming home next week. She's moving back from San Diego at the end of July when her lease is up, but she will be here for the entire month of June. Also, my best friend has finished med school in England and will be back the following week! So it will be a good summer indeed!

Also, I'm finished in time to watch the majority of the Lakers-Celtics games! I missed last night, but my Lakers won so it's all good. Though, knowing the Celtics, they're not going to let one game stop them and it will be a nice, drawn out series. I'm saying it's going to Game 6! This Lakers team is much different than the one that lost so miserably two years ago and they'll be fighting it out till the end.

My sister saw last night's games and she said that there was a lot of fighting. I saw the recap and Pierce and Artest were pushing each other even before the beginning of the game! That probably has to do with the fact that Artest pulled down his shorts a few years ago. I found that out yesterday and I was like "really? how old are you guys? FIVE?"

Then again, Pierce gets no love from me for saying that the Lakers fans aren't as knowledgeable about basketball as Celtics fans. Maybe he should shut up and do what he's paid a ridiculous amount of money to do: play basketball! :\

Yay! It's Friday! And I can't believe it but it was my last regular day of my first year of law school. Wow, I can't believe how time flies. The good news is though that the second half of our mock trial went well and my side won the case! Maybe I can do this lawyer thing after all! LOL ;)

Anyway, I have finals next week so wish me luck. 5 classes = 5 finals and a few papers. Oh, well, at this time next week, I'll be free! And probably more involved in fandom. I'm actually a co-captain of Team Smallville over at cw_land. I've never done anything like this before but I'm very excited!

In sadder news, Gary Coleman died of a stroke today. I have seen re-runs of "Diff'rent Strokes" and he was such a cute kid. He was only 42 too! :(

How's everybody's Monday going? I'm dong pretty well, even though I have finals in a week. SO procrastinating on the studying. We have a mock trial tomorrow in one of my classes. I love those things but I'm hoping I don't screw up. :D

Now I have two fic recs for you all. Both Clark/Oliver and both by my favorite Clark/Ollie writer. :D

1. Escape to a Perfect Day by boltgirl426 (Clark/Oliver, PG)- This is SO cute! Pure Collie fluff at it's best. I don't want to give anything away so just go read it! :D

2. Over My Dead Body by boltgirl426 (Clark/Oliver, G)- This is the newest oneshot in her La Fuga Dolce/Coming Full Circle Universe and it's SO awesome! If you haven't read those two fics, you SHOULD. They're on my Clark/Oliver list, which is organized by author. In this one, Maddie's been asked out on her first date and Ollie's not exactly thrilled. I just adore this universe and it's probably my overall favorite Clark/Ollie fic.

Happy Monday everyone! Then again, how can Mondays be happy, right? Fortunately, it's a shorter day for me. I only have two classes, so I'm done at 11 am. I had to stay back for a little bit because we're doing a mock trial in one of my classes (for Professor ROSENBAUM! HA! I swear, that will never get old. Yes, I'm a dork, I know it) and my group had to meet. :)

Dude, did you guys know that Justin and Lindsay Hartley are expecting a second child? I read about it somewhere. If so, congrats to them! Justin makes such an adorable daddy and Lindsay is gorgeous. I just love them together. &hearts

In fact, my dear boltgirl426 linked me to an interview with her. It's not very long but it's cute and it has pictures of Isabella. If you're interested, it's here. :)

saavikam77 posted about a dream she had and it reminded me of one I had a few days ago. Let's just say Clark was an angel and his purpose was to help Ollie find love. Knowing me, guess how that turned out? ;) Though I have to say, Tom with wings? VERY nice. How about all of you? Have you ever had any weird dreams?

I hope everyone is doing okay and manages to survive the week! Think about this way: only four more days till the weekend! LOL :D

So, I think I've mentioned before that James Franco was supposed to be our graduation speaker. Today, I found out he bailed! His explanation was that he had a movie to shoot but I'm so pissed. Graduation is a week away! The only reason that I wanted to go was to see him ... my sister's favorite actor is James Franco and she was so excited.

I don't have much hope that we'll get anyone exciting now, even though I'm trying to stay positive. Last year, we were supposed to have Bill Clinton but there was this workers' strike and he refused to cross picket lines. I'm beginning to think we're cursed. :(

Hey, flisties! I hope you are all having a great day cuz MINE is going fabulously! Because I got into LAW SCHOOL! Not just ANY law school but my DREAM SCHOOL! It was my first choice and they took me! EEK! I'm going CRAZY here!! I called my parents and sister too! They're REALLY thrilled! I'm going home on the 30th and I can't wait!! :D

Anyway, that was the big news of the day so I had to share!
