How's everyone doing today on this lovely Friday afternoon? I'm GREAT ... because I'm FREEEE! Finals are OVER and I'm officially on summer vacation till September! WOHOOO! As you can tell, I'm VERY happy. One of my close friends is coming home next week. She's moving back from San Diego at the end of July when her lease is up, but she will be here for the entire month of June. Also, my best friend has finished med school in England and will be back the following week! So it will be a good summer indeed!

Also, I'm finished in time to watch the majority of the Lakers-Celtics games! I missed last night, but my Lakers won so it's all good. Though, knowing the Celtics, they're not going to let one game stop them and it will be a nice, drawn out series. I'm saying it's going to Game 6! This Lakers team is much different than the one that lost so miserably two years ago and they'll be fighting it out till the end.

My sister saw last night's games and she said that there was a lot of fighting. I saw the recap and Pierce and Artest were pushing each other even before the beginning of the game! That probably has to do with the fact that Artest pulled down his shorts a few years ago. I found that out yesterday and I was like "really? how old are you guys? FIVE?"

Then again, Pierce gets no love from me for saying that the Lakers fans aren't as knowledgeable about basketball as Celtics fans. Maybe he should shut up and do what he's paid a ridiculous amount of money to do: play basketball! :\

I have to say though, that despite the fact the Celtics are the Lakers' biggest rivals, they're not the team I hate most in the NBA. Nope, that honor is reserved for the Mavericks. I can't stand their owner, Mark Cuban. There's also a few other teams that irritate me. Boston is actually one of the teams I like. Also, I'm not LeBron's biggest fan either. I've found that guy to be a douche ever since he talked about himself in third person. I hate how the media treats him like some kind of God when he has only been to the finals once and hasn't even won a ring yet! IMHO, the real King is KOBE. ALL HAIL! I even have a Kobe jersey! My sis gave me one for Christmas! :D

Speaking of LeBron, that guy needs to get out of Cleveland. He's not going to win a ring there. No matter what I say about him, he's a talented player and has to find a team that he can work with. His talent is being wasted, much like how Garnett was wasted in Minnesota. You know what's the real issue with LeBron? He's not a leader. For a team to succeed, the best player has to also be a leader. Michael Jordan was a leader, Tim Duncan was a leader, Kobe Bryant has grown to be a leader, Kevin Garnett is a leader ... the list goes on and on!

My dad thinks that LeBron should go to Phoenix. Steve Nash is definitely a leader and the combination could win them both a ring. But we both agree he'll probably be stupid and go somewhere like New York, just to be the star again. That is, if he leaves. Oh well, I guess we'll have to see what he does.

Next game is Sunday at 5 PM PST. President Obama thinks my Lakers are going to win it all (he actually had good advice for LeBron ... he should take listen!). Then again, he picked the Colts to win the Superbowl. Not that I was complaining there ... I was rooting for the Saints. ;) I don't really have an NFL team. My sister is a HUGE Patriots fan ... in fact, I bought her a Patriots calender for Christmas! I just saw Drew Brees on The Jay Leno Show, during the 10 @ 10 segment. He seemed like a nice guy so I started rooting for the Saints, LOL. I know, great reasons! Besides, my sister would kill me if I rooted for a Manning brother.

Anyway, take care all and have a great weekend!
