Clark Meme Day 12!

I'm very happy ... my Lakers won the Western Conference Finals! Now they're going to the NBA Finals! I knew they could do it. They're almost there! :D

Now it's Day 12 of the Clark Meme. I'm still having a lot of fun with this one. Today's episode is "Leech". Remember? The one with Aaron Ashmore's twin brother, Shawn? Yup, that's it. I picked this cap because his expression was just SO adorable! I keep saying that but Clark is just the cutest farmboy ever! &hearts :D

Oh, but isn't he, though?! lol. Le sigh, I think I'm totally gonna miss Aaron Ashmore, more than I thought I would. *sniffs* lol. You mentioned his name and I almost cried a little bit.

He SO is! And aww, I didn't mean to make you sad. I'll miss Aaron too. His Jimmy will always be MY Jimmy, no matter what the dumb show says. *hugs*

Heh, it's okay. I think it's just going to be a looong while, before I'm able to think about AA's Jimmy without wanting to burst into tears. I'm like you, I'll never accept any other subsitute!Jimmy that this dumb show tries to foist on us, at all. *hugs*

I know! I love the Clark-Lois-Jimmy friendship so much and they just screwed it all up. What was even the point of all that? *grumbles* I hate PS3 right now. >:(

I guess to align with the mytho's and appease DC Comics. IDK, all I know is that it was just STUPID, and ridic. Me, too, friend. The Clark/Lois/Jimmy friendship was so awesome.

I just don't understand ... I think they just wanted to kill of a character and are using DC as an excuse. I mean, Jimmy's age is hardly the biggest change SV has made.

I think you're probably right about that, as sad as it makes me to admit it. They were needing to cut two actors due to budget constraints, so I'm convinced that's why Sam and Aaron went. I don't buy the whole DC excuse either, as far as Jimmy's age. And you're right, to point the other other out.

He certainly was, too bad we didn't get more of that before, ya know.

Yeah, I figured it was due to budget ... as horrible as this may sound, I wish they cut Chloe instead of Jimmy. They're going to have to do a lot of work to redeem her for me in s9. :\

I know! Instead we got a useless Kara/Jimmy/Chloe triangle in s7 and a stupid Davis/Chloe/Jimmy one in s8. LAME. >:(

I wish they would have cut Chloe as well, myself. However, I had a feeling that they weren't about to do that. I mean, they were going to keep her for S9. It's just frustrating to lose one really great iconic character, behind one original character's stupid fatal actions. Grr. I think you're right, they're going to have to do massive redeeming, to get her back in my good graces.

See, I really loved Kara/Supergirl. She was one of my favorite things about S7, but I wasn't crazy about the Kara/Jimmy/Chloe storyline either. And, you know how I feel about the Davis/Chloe/Jimmy one in this recent season. Grr.

For a while, I really thought they may kill Chloe and felt like they've been hinting it for a while but the minute they got a s9, I lost hope. They're going to drag out her character as long as they possibly can.

Seriously! They just retcon an iconic character and keep Chloe around? I don't see the logic. :\

I think Kara could've been a good character but I don't feel ike she was used effectively. Most of the time, she had her memory loss or was stuck in the triangle. They should've had her spending time with Clark and show him that something good (other than him) came from Krypton. Though I hated the idea that Supergirl was trying to teach Superman how to fly. I'm relieved that plotline never went anywhere. :\

I was guilty of thinking the same, myself. But, then I realized that we were getting a S9 (which, I'm still trying to figure out how the hell that happened), that they were never going to kill her off. I remember thinking how cool it would be to finally have an entire season without the little tiny annoying blond wonder hanging around. lol.

You can't, because there really isn't any, where Smallville is concerned. lol.

See, I don't know that I can agree with you, re: Kara/Supergirl. I absolutely loved her and I thought it was cute, that she was trying to teach Clark how to fly. (Also, Clark isn't Superman yet, and at the time he was just Clark.) I had absolutely no problem at all, with that storyline. And, let's not forget that it was Kara, who encouraged Clark to tell Lois his secret, telling him that she thought she could actually handle it.

I also didn't mind her memory loss storyline either, because that meant I got to see Lex/Kara intereaction and I really did like those two. But, you said that you wished they had her spending time with Clark, I saw a few pretty good moments between her and Clark, that I really enjoyed. Of course, the tirangle I could have totes done without, all the other I didn't mind so much.
