It's Day 13 of the Clark Meme and today's episode is "Kinetic". I really liked the black jacket/red shirt combo. It's a shame we had to wait until s8 to see that jacket again. Oh well, better late than never! ;D I really love his expression and OMG, his eyes look so blue. :D



Now, for another meme, since I'm addicted to them. I snagged this one from chosenfire28. :D

I know! I'm so glad that it was in s8 ... I totally forgot that he had it in s1 too. And yes, pretty blue eyes. I love how Tom's eyes change from green to blue ... he has the most gorgeous eyes EVER, IMO. :D

Lois it is!

a. OMG! What don't I love about her? Okay, my favorite thing about Lois is her loyalty- to everyone. She's loyal to Clark, she's loyal to Chloe, she's loyal to Ollie and hell, she was even loyal to Lana! When you're in Lois's circle, she protects people. I mean, she went through so much to find Chloe back in 'Odyssey'. I think she's amazing for it. &hearts
b. Oh man, this one is a bit harder. I know she has flaws but there's part of the reason I love her! Okay, not in SV, but in other versions, I don't like how she treats Clark sometimes.
c. Clark, of course!
d. Bruce Wayne from BB/TDK. He's hot and she's good with heroes.
e. Gilmore Girls! Lois would find two people (Lorelai and Rory) who talk more than she does! ;D
f. Lois/Lex. That ship never made sense to me (no offense if you like it!).
g. "I'll Stand By You"- The Pretenders
h. The Goddess of Journalism- A Lois Lane story (she didn't write this, of course. Remember, it was Clark's nickname for her in 'Plastique? ;D)
i. That Clark didn't recover after he got shot and died instead. She was very upset when she woke up.
j. Die of old age after living a long, happy life with Clark. ;D

Ugh! It's been sooo long since I've watched S1, srsly. lol. I had almost forgotten about the jacket, until you posted the cap and said something about it. Still, though, it was nice to see it back in S8. Almost like going back to his roots. Dude, in total agreement about his eyes, so pretty.

rotfl. ILU, "what don't I love about her?" EXACTLY. I love that she's so damn loyal to everyone, even Chloe (who seriously DOESN'T deserve it), because that's just who she is.

I haven't seen s1 in forever and yeah, I totally forgot about the black jacket. When I saw it in s8, I totally thought it was new. :D

Family really comes first to Lois and I find it so amazing. Lately, Chloe's been fail in that department.

ROTFL. I could see how you would do that. lol. With the re-watch, there's so many things that I had forgotten, that's re-surfaced as well. Thta's the good thing about it.

That's what I absolutely love about her. She sure has, it's too bad that their relationship isn't how it was in the beginning, anymore. But, I had a feeling that the second Chloe witnessed any sparks between Clark and Lois (given how she feels and has always/will probably always feel about Clark) that it would change anyway. It's such a shame.

Srsly, those three would drive Luke absolutely insane, to the point he shoo'ed them out of his diner. lmoa.

Nah, you don't suck. It was actually pretty good.

They'd better have their happy ending, because if I suffered through all of this for nothing, I'm gonna be pissed off.

Especially with the way the writers like to change their own canon, stuff can be easily forgotten! LOL :D

I love Lois's loyalty ... she seriously blows me away. And yeah, IDK what happened to Chloe. I mean, she was supportive of Clois and all "don't hurt my cousin" in "Bulletproof". I really just think the writers don't like platonic relationships. :(

I'd feel SO bad for Luke! But I'm sure Lorelai would get him to let her stay.

Yes, it can be. And, that's something I always got frustrated with re: the writer's of Smallville, always changing the canon or doing a retcon to fix whatever they think needs to be fixed, but probably should be left alone instead. Idiots, the whole lot of them.

I've felt that way for a very long time, because as far as Chloe/Lois goes - their family/cousins, and their relationship has always had a chance to survive and be pretty good sometimes, albiet in the past season's (mainly S4 and a few spots in S5 here and there). But, Chloe/Lana's friendship, really didn't get that much of one and that's kind of sad, because I would have really liked to have seen them be more BFF if it weren't for Chloe pining away for Clark, while Clark was pining away for Lana, and Chloe was sercretly hating Lana (ridiculous so, IMHO, since she couldn't help the fact that...)Clark was the one who was pining away for her. She didn't ask for him to be in love with her, so it's kinda not her fault. That whole Fever thing, the letter, and Chloe being frustrated with Lana b/c of Clark, was just stupid. Grr. /end rant.

(Sorry about that, but what you said made me think of that, and I kinda went off on a tangent.)

I think we've waited the longest for it, now I just wanna see him wake up and realize that she's the girl for him.

Seriously! I mean, get it right the first time or just move on and work around it. "Fixing it" ends up worse in the long run.

Yeah, Chloe and Lana's friendship has felt forced to me for quite some time. They were cute in s1, with Lana even encouraging the Chloe-Clark friendship but with the triangle, it really got screwed over. It's a shame. s6/s7 was awful for them ... I can't tell you how much rage I feel with "Hydro". :\

I agree on the Chloe's hatred of Lana being irrational. One of the reasons I was really annoyed with her in early seasons ... her passive aggressive attitude made me want to slap her. I can understand that she's a teenager and nobody's rational but I got SO tired of her.

Lorelai really is a master at manipulating Luke. He never had a shot. LOL :D

I definitely think he's getting there and I'm sure in s9 he will just accept it. ;)

There have been moments where it's felt like, to me, that the friendship has been a bit forced. But, there have been other times, when I have seen a few genuine moments between them throughout the season. I saw a couple in S6 and maybe one in S7, but on the whole I think the first season was the closest we came to it.

Oh, I think everyone felt rage over that. lol.

Oh good, I'm glad someone else said something about her passive aggressive attitude, I also hate the her over-use of metaphors every other thought that flies out of her mouth. It's annoying and any normal person wouldn't use THAT MANY metaphors in their everyday language, either. IKR?!

I really hope you're right and I also hope that we don't have to prepare ourselves for a re-write of their first meeting, because I swear if they take the cornfield Crusade away from us, I'll be seriously pissed.
