I'm going to C/P my Smallville thoughts from my LJ post. I have a lot of thoughts when it comes to that show, probably enough to fill an essay, and I think many of them are unpopular, especially when it comes to Clark, but I'm just stick to a few random ones. I hope you don't take offense to this, since I don't remember what your preferences were.
-I don't think Clark was wrong for walking away from humanity at the end of s8. Everyone who was still alive and around had treated him like crap and with friends like those? Yeah, I'd walk away too.
-Also, I don't think Clark owed his secret to anyone, especially Lex. I also don't believe Lex is as big a woobie as fandom makes him out to be.
-While I don't like the Lois/Graham relationship for many reasons, I don't judge Lois for dating her boss. Just like I don't judge her for drinking. Those kind of things makes her more real to me.
As far as the Avengers go, I just read fic so I am not really aware of what's popular/unpopular yet? I don't ship Tony/Loki so there's that.
