Smallville:
Ships: Clark/Oliver, Clark/Lois, Lois/Tess, Lois/Oliver, Clark/Lois/Oliver, Lois/Lana, Lana/Tess

Established relationships or getting together are both great. With all the alien artifacts that they could come across, maybe one of them soul bonds the couple and they have to figure out how to deal with that. Would be especially fun if it is Clark/Lois/Oliver and they are suddenly in this triad and a little confused. Or they have to go undercover for a mission and pretend to be married. Drunk (or redk for Clark) weddings where they just wake up married is also a possibility. With ships like Clark/Oliver, Lois/Tess, Lois/Oliver or even Lois/Lana and Lana/Tess, the news of their wedding could be splashed across the tabloids before they even think to annul it and they now have to stick it out for some arbitrary reason.

If they are together, I love proposal fics, whether they go right or completely wrong. I get second hand embarrassment pretty quickly but I love romantic proposals going wrong or even better, when they go right. Or maybe they just spontaneously decide to get married after a close call, court house style. Wedding day fics in general are good.

Or anniversary stories, with them already being together for a long time. One of them gets sick and they get taken care of, or maybe they are so tired/busy they forget. I like family/kid fics so they can be included too.

If it is one of the f/f ships, I don't want anyone to be pining over an ex, especially Lois and Lana with Clark. With everything that has happened with AM, and the issues I already had with the character, I prefer Chloe not being involved or firmly in the background. Ships that I'm okay with that I haven't included here: Oliver/Dinah, Lois/Kara, Tess/Emil. Otherwise, I'm pretty picky. NOTPS: Clark/Lex, Clark/Lana, Clark/Tess, Lois/Lex, Oliver/Lex, Oliver/Lana, Oliver/any of the JL other than Dinah. I'm fine with other Smallville/Justice League characters showing up in their own ways that haven't been mentioned.

Boy Meets World:
Ships: Jack/Eric

I really liked them in the original show, and I only know bits and pieces of what happened in GMW, but I am fine with plots including things that happened there. Maybe Eric's career in politics makes him need a spouse and he ends up convincing Jack to marry him. Or they decide during or after college to get married, because it will benefit them in some way.

Already established fics, with the two of them proposing or deciding to get married, maybe eloping when the families try to get too involved, or even anything wedding related is good.

I don't really care for Shawn/Cory, so I would prefer for Cory to be with Topanga and Shawn to be with Angela, not the woman he was with in GMW, if you decide to include them in the story. With the younger kids, I don't want Maya/Lucas. Everything else is fair game. Riley/Maya, Riley/Lucas, etc.

DCEU:
Ships: Diana/Steve, Diana/Lois, Barry/Iris, Clark/Lois

AUs the ships are suddenly married at first sight would be interesting, due to some interference by the Gods, which are canon in the DCEU thanks to WW. They would all react in different ways and it would be interesting to see how the dynamics of their individual relationships would change based on that.

At the end of the Snyder cut, Lois and Clark are engaged, so anything involving them planning a wedding and expecting a child while handling everything else is good. Weddings, anniversaries, etc.

Dream sharing leading to weddings is an interesting concept too, especially if Diana is on Themyscira at the time or Clark and Lois haven't met yet or even Barry and Iris barely knowing one another and suddenly are bonded. I like time travel fix its and time loops (Groundhog Day AUs are interesting) or even fics where a character needs to get married for any reason (citizenship?)

I don't want characters pining for any exes, mostly in a Lois/Diana fic with Clark. Diana/Clark is a NOTP. Same with Clark/Lex. I'm kind of neutral on most DCEU ships that I haven't mentioned, other than Arthur/Mera, which I do like. If it is Diana/Lois, I would be fine with Clark/Bruce being firmly in the background.

Elementary:
Ships: Joan/Jamie

This is my favorite "enemies to lovers" ship. I like the two of them having to be forced to be on the same side, for any given reason. Whether they have to pretend to be a couple and get married to draw a mutual enemy out and accidentally end up actually married or there's drunken shenanigans gone wrong? Maybe a pre-show AU where they got drunk married and it turns out that the marriage never got annulled after all?

I'm a sucker for amnesia fics so an idea could be Jamie hits her head, forgets who she is and only remembers Joan, which is how Joan gets called and she is completely convinced they are together/married. Sherlock doesn't know whether to laugh or be horrified.

Or you can jump past the enemies stage completely and have them already in a relationship or at least on friendly terms. It is clear that neither of them are into very traditional relationships so how they would get married can be explored, or what makes them. Near death experiences, maybe only a spouse can visit at the hospital or whatever it takes.

I like the friendships and other characters (Sherlock, Bell, etc) so I'm happy to see any and all of them involved, as well as Joan's mom.

Enola Holmes:
Ships: Enola/Viscount Tewskbury

I found this movie delightful and was more into this ship than I expected. Clearly, there was something by the end, with him being into her and her being charmed despite herself. Modern AUs are welcome of course, but anything set in the time period would make marriage of convenience a fitting trope. Whether they need to draw out a villain or it is for propriety. Maybe Enola or Tewky are tired of the constant parade of suitors (Sherlock would not force the subject of course but maybe Tewksbury's married feel differently) so they decide to pretend they are engaged or actually get married.

Or maybe they are already together, deciding to get married after a long engagement. I like established marriages, where they are still doing their own thing and working together as a couple too. I haven't read the books, but if you want to include any plots (I know he doesn't show up after the first one though), that is good. Case stories are fun.

Gilmore Girls:
Ships: Rory/Jess, Luke/Lorelai, Rory/Paris, Lane/Dave

Anything set before the show, during the show, between the show and the Revival, during the Revival or afterwards is fine with me. Whether you want Rory to be pregnant and how her new significant other plays a role is also up to you or if you want to cross out that part, or even have her decide not to have the baby (I'm pro choice personally), that works too.

Accidental weddings, marriages of conveniences, proposal fics are all good. I like misunderstandings and canon level shenanigans playing out. Sci Fi elements would be out of place in Stars Hollow but there is something funny about a character being done with love, deciding to use some computer that either assigns them a spouse or points out who they are most compatible with and them being like "wait, THEM?" and then over time, just getting it.

I only ask that there not be any exes there just so the current LI can show how much better they are, even if I don't like Dean or have complicated feelings about Christopher and Zach.

Inception:
Ships: Arthur/Eames

The dream sharing leading to them married in real life would be interesting and how they deal with that. Whether they don't have feelings yet, have feelings and there is pining, or they are already together and just haven't gotten married is up to you. I'm fine with all of those options.

Soulmates/soulbonds are good, especially with Arthur determinedly trying to find his soulmate and not realizing it is Eames. Misunderstandings, drunk weddings, rejected proposals due to reason all fit into their dynamic. As do fake relationships/needing to be married for whatever reason.

MCU:
Ships: Peggy/Steve, Steve/Tony, Bucky/Sam, Pepper/Natasha, Bucky/Natasha, Sharon/Natasha, Sif/Thor, Jane/Thor

Magic and alien artifacts and time travel are all elements that could work in forming a marriage. Undercover as married or fake relationships are both tropes that I really enjoy. Maybe they need tow work with someone who thinks they are married and they need to keep the ruse? They claim they are engaged and now the other species wants to throw them an elaborate wedding or attend their's so they have to go through with it. Or they did accidentally get married in some other way. I do like soulmates and dream sharing leading them to their soulmate or accidentally marrying them. Or maybe they are already together and deciding whether to take that next step. Maybe one or both is nervous.

Even elaborate proposals or accidental proposals are fun! Time travel to change the past (maybe pre-Endgame so they don't know the topic hasn't been explored yet) and then it results in their present self having been married and they have to figure out what is going on.

Already married couples- I like domesticity and knowing each other intently and all that comes with it. Them fighting side by side and being able to anticipate the other one's moves is great.

I don't really like a lot of ships I haven't mentioned here. I prefer Tony with Pepper if he is not with Steve and while I am mostly on Steve's side in the CW rift, I don't need it to all be reiterated or anyone be the "villain". I don't like Stucky and am okay but don't ship Steve/Sam either. In stories that aren't Steve/Peggy, I would rather not see Steve or his ending being bashed.

North and South:
Ships: Margaret/John

Anything set during canon or pre or after is good. Marriage of convenience, where they slowly fall in love, or as they set to get married after the series, and have to deal with all that entails is great. Margaret's family and John's mom would definitely be too involved and the way they have to balance that and not lose their patience would be pretty funny.

The two of them working side by side and figuring out their lives and even getting to know each other better post proposal or even them already married and again, all that comes with it. Newly married or old married couple is both fine.

Star Trek (AOS):
Ships: Kirk/Spock

Cultural misunderstandings, accidental proposals/marriages, having to pretend they are engaged/married for a mission. Different alien cultures could definitely be at play here, with Spock and Kirk doing anything that is routine for them, but being seen as a sign that they are really married and they have to play along with it.

Or there is some sort of dream sharing before they even meet and when they do, there is clashing but eventual falling in love. I do like their push/pull dynamic and how they go from enemies to friends (to lovers?). Kirk would definitely be the type to jokingly propose in front of the press, have it taken seriously, and then need Spock to go along with it.

Another idea could be Kirk accidentally time traveling, maybe saving Spock's mom, and then when he returns to the present, he finds they're in a relationship. Or Spock intentionally time traveling and doing the same thing, only to find himself in that situation too.

If they are already together, I can see Kirk being reluctant to get married, due to his childhood, and then suddenly having a moment of realization and blurting out a proposal during battle.

They're definitely the type who would prefer small ceremonies. Maybe they are forced into a big one because of who they are, and then they quietly have a small wedding with just their friends and family beforehand. I can see it happening on New Vulcan or even the Enterprise itself.

Again, please no character bashing. I don't ship Spock/Uhura, but I like her, so I wouldn't want to see her be the villain in any way. I like Uhura with Gaila and McCoy. Scotty is fine too, if you want to go that direction. I also liked McCoy with Carol. I also don't like Kirk/McCoy so I would rather them being just best friends. If there are some misunderstandings otherwise, that's okay but the real relationship is one I prefer to be platonic.

Thanks again!
