1) How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
I started writing fanfic because of the two guys in my current icon. I'd been reading fanfic for years but it was Smallville, more specially Clark/Oliver that prompted me to write my first fic. It was mostly because of the lack of fic for this pairing that prompted me to write my own. I seriously fell in love with Clark/Oliver in the very beginning ... by the end of 6.04 'Arrow', I was sold. But after every episode, when I googled for fics, I couldn't find much. ollieville to be specific. I created an account so I could join and days later, I was writing fic.
I had read slash but I had to overcome a serious mental block to not only write fic, but to write Clark/Oliver. I love to write and come up with a lot of ideas but I'm a lazy person. If there is a lot of fic for a certain pair, I won't write it unless I'm really inspired. I'd rather read fic. When it came to Clark/Ollie, I knew that if there was to be more fic, I'd have to write it myself. So I did. And I haven't looked back.
