This year, the theme is "Girl Saves the Day (and Maybe the World)" so while you can still have the girl saving the boy, you don't necessarily have to, as long as they save the day somehow. It's multi-fandom and romance is optional so it can be a gen fic too! The minimum word count is 750 w and posting goes from Oct 1-14th. If you're interested, check it out here.

Last but not least, there's the 'Kaleidoscope Fanwork Exchange', which is a multimedia fanwork exchange for rare chromatic source fandoms. Quoting them directly: "we are defining chromatic sources to be sources with chromatic characters or people and by chromatic creators. We use the term "chromatic" as an umbrella definition for "person of color", "non-white", "multiracial", "indigenous", "sourcelander", "hyphenate", "diasporian", etc.; while we acknowledge that it has shortcomings."
