snowflake challenge #8

Challenge #8:

In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, a gift of your time to the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.

Oh man, I'm never good at this type of thing but I'll try.

Fandom:

I only got back into fandom in March of 2020 after leaving for 8 years, but I did a lot of writing in 2021, resulting in over 100k of words. I also got into exchanges, and I ended up completing 16 fics.

Speaking of exchange fics, I was able to get of my comfort zone. I did get to write for my main fandom (Smallville) but I also got a chance to try new ships/fandoms and I ended up liking how they turned out.

Non-fandom:

Baking has been one of my main hobbies during quarantine and I tried a few new things there too, including multiple ice cream cakes and working on my decorating/layer cake skills. :D
