pine4pine, a multi fandom exchange focused on well, pining (something I'm pretty excited about tbh) has opened sign-ups, until July 23rd. Find out more this way.

fandomgrowthexchange, multifandom exchange for ultra-rare fandoms, relationships, and characters with ten or fewer complete fics (or five or fewer contributing authors) on AO3, also has ongoing sign-ups until July 19th at 11:55 PM UTC. More details can be found here.

heroes_dont, an exchange focused on oral sex, has also started accepting sign-ups until July 22. Rules and timeline can be found here.

chromaticcelebrationex, a a gift exchange for art, fic, podfic, and vids that focus on one or more chromatic characters, has also opened sign-ups until July 23, 11:59PM UTC. More information can be found here.

story_works is hosting both a Multi Fandom Fluff Challenge and a Multi Fandom Sound Challenge. Both are open now for posting and run until August 31st.

If you're looking for a prompt table, 100ships is a a multifandom challenge comm where the aim is to create 100 different fanworks featuring 100 different relationships. Details and the table can be found here. No sign-ups requires, and no deadlines so if you have a lot of ships (or want to try some new ones), here is your excuse. :D

I wrote a story for the story_works fluff challenge. Still wary about exchanges - I feel like I'm too boxed in with my one fandom to ever be a good participant, lol!

I saw that! Very awesome. I don't blame you for the exchanges. It's why I tend to sign up for one or two at a time and end up signing toward the end, to make sure there is something I can write for. I have my fandoms I prefer, but it has been kinda fun trying something new now and then. :D

Signing up at the end makes sense! I'm eyeing up the retrotvexchange challenge and even nominated a TV show, but you have to sign up for at least 3 unique fandoms and I only have two that I could write for. I've found one that I might be interested in doing, but... sometimes it's just extra work, lol!

Yeah, I think the only one I just went for was the Pine 4 Pine because I love pining so much so I'm crossing my fingers I get lucky on there. The retrotv challenge does sound interesting- I nominated a few myself but I don't know if there are fandoms I can write for. Hopefully you find some that work for you, in case you decide to go for it! You are right on it being extra work though, and there is always an added pressure in writing for someone else.
