What things did you create that took the most time?
1. i'm superwoman, with an s on my chest (but can someone just know me) - my clark/lois role reversal fic that was initially for the Heroine Big Bang is still a WIP but has taken up a lot of time. Still will continue to do so this year
2. i found my way (and it led me back to you) , a rory/jess fic I wrote for highadrenalineexchange
3. a risk worth taking, a sam/natasha fic I wrote for ficinabox
4. tale as old as time, a thor/sif fic i wrote for fairytaleinspired - it was more the voices than anything that I really spent a lot of time dwelling on, because I wanted to get it to sound right and adapt the Beauty and the Beast story to the Thor & Sif and not be a direct copy.
5. rarefemslashexchange- fortunately, I have two co-mods but going through the tagset is time consuming

Here's pics of the top 5 things I baked last year (is baking a fandom? IDK. But I'm using this as an excuse to post pics, since a few people were kind enough to ask)
1. Vanilla layer cake with a chocolate buttercream 1 & 2
2. Ice cream cake- orange dreamsicle cake with homemade mango ice cream & whipped cream frosting & slice of cake
3. French macarons
4. Tiramisu
5. Pistachio cake with vanilla buttercream

That's a lovely lot of diverse fandom sandboxes you are playing in! And kudos for co-modding a community - mods should get so much love for all the hard work they put in.

And serious, on the basis of those cake pictures, baking should definitely be a fandom because they look amazing!

It's funny, I have never really thought about it that way, because I feel like I am so super hero focused, but writing it out does make it sound like a variety. That's kind of you to say- I saw someone asking for a Rare Femslash Exchange and I was really tempted. I am really lucky to have other people who wanted to do it with me, and can handle a lot of AO3 stuff that I couldn't initially figure out, because I would've been lost doing it by myself. I really admire people who run any other ones, either by themselves or with help, especially the bigger they get (like Yuletide or Chocolate Box).

Aww, thank you! A few people asked if I posted pics in a past entry and my IG has my real name and I was going to just post them as a separate entry but this challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to share. :D

Thank you! I have been practicing piping the roses for a while so it's nice to hear that it stood out. :D I agree! I mean, since baking shows exist and I'm pretty sure Great British Bake Off got nominated for Yuletide, it could totally count!

Thank you! I've only done macarons twice and my mom found me a recipe with really clear instructions, down to how many times you should fold the ingredients, which was right up my alley and very helpful. :D

All your baking looks fabulous, honey. I love baking too, as you know, but I'm not much for the fancy decorating, I'm afraid! That layer cake with all the sweets inside was amazing :)

Thank you! I do know and I love hearing about all your baking as well. And I'm sure whatever you makes looks good and tastes better, which is the most important part. I just like decorating though I probably should take a class at some point, since I'm mostly self taught. :D The layer cake with the sweets was the most recent! I made it for NYE and the whole sprinkles falling out was a trend that I finally hopped on. My mom got me a book ages ago and I figured I would just give it a shot. :D
