What is the first TV show you remember watching?

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Kid me was devastated when Kim dumped Tommy via letter. That was my 'ship I shipped long before I knew what shipping was' ship. :D

What is the first “grown up” TV show you watched?

I don't know. I watched a lot of the 90s "family" shows growing up- Saved by the Bell, Full House, Step by Step, etc. Do Seinfeld reruns count?

Have you ever been in a wedding bridal party? What was your role? What did your outfit look like that you wore for the day?

No, never have.

What is your ethnic background that you’re aware of?

Indian/South Asian. And I went into a wikipedia spiral trying to figure out the difference between race and ethnicity.

What was the last hotel you stayed in and where? Did you like it?

Some place in SoCal. I was helping my sister move and we drove down/stayed the night in a hotel. It was in fall of 2020. I was a little worried but it was fine. Room was comfortable. I was grateful for the air conditioning after driving for ~6 hours without it in 110 degree (F) temps.

My late wife was very, very upset by the break up between Kim and Tommy.

She and our nephew, who was less than ten, talked about it for a week.

I don't blame them! I think I was too young to really do the same or express myself, but I remember I felt very betrayed, especially after Tommy got together with Kat. Young me learned what a NOTP was too. :D

Ah, Saved By The Bell, I loved that show (I have all the DVDs! lol) but I never did watch Power Rangers. My first ship (the one that I had before I knew what shipping was) was Spike/Lynda from an old British TV show called Press Gang. I think I was maybe 5 or 6 at the time.

I rarely think about the race/ethnicity of people I become friends with online... and what is the difference between the two anyway? Honestly, I'm not sure I know either! lol

Nice! I never got the DVDs ... or watched all the episodes in order, now that I think about it. It was just what was on a lot at the time. I don't even remember deciding on Power Rangers, just watching it lol Interesting! I have never heard of that, but it is funny how even at a young age, we gravitate toward relationships.

I don't think about it unless it is brought up. Most of the time, I don't know either. I'm pretty sure I answered for race but I am still not quite clear what the difference is; I think 'race' is more broader? Ethnicity might get into heritage. But don't quote me on that!

I used to watch all those old Peter Engel shows when I was a kid/young teen, because they showed them over and over in the school holidays over here. Saved By The Bell, California Dreams, Hang Time, Malibu CA, USA High, all of that stuff. I only have SBTB and CD on DVD though, because those were always my favourites :)

I have Press Gang on DVD too, but the whole thing is actually on YouTube now, so if you think it might be of interest to you and you ever want something different to binge watch...

It's about a bunch of teenagers running a newspaper for kids. Lots of drama, a healthy dose of humour, and obviously a little teen romance too ;)

Makes sense. We used to watch a lot of what was going on ABC Family or the Full House/Step by Step/Family Matters/Cosby Show type. I never used to get TV show DVDs; we had a lot of video cassettes of our fave movies . :D

Sounds interesting! I am terrible about watching shows, so I don't know if/when I will but thank you for the link! At some point, I'm sure I will get to it. I'm sure it will be a good excuse to procrastinate on ... something lol

It took me a long time to replace my huge pile of VHS tapes with DVDs when we got a different player. I like having films on DVD, but I'm a sucker for TV boxsets and binge(re)watching :)

Don't worry if you don't watch it, it's fine. I just figured since I was talking about it and it was there, I'd share, but it's really no big :)

Oh same! My parents' VCR player was gathering dust in the closet until just a few months ago lol I like having DVDs too. Same reason I still have all my CDs. I don't really rewatch whole episodes. I do have all ten seasons of SV but that's it. :D

I do appreciate it! I say that "oh I definitely will" when it comes to recommendations and then never do and have to be like "oh not yet" the few times people ask if I have so I figured I would just be upfront. :D

Oh yeah, it was July/August too. I think central California is tough too, because that is where it feels like it is just constantly hot. And I'm pretty bad about drinking enough water so that was a bad combo. We got to our destination though! And her move in time was too early to drive the day of, which is why we spent the night in a hotel the day before. :D
