Dear creator,
Thank you for signing up for this exchange! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I hope the information I provided helps. I tried to include a few prompts for each pairing but if you're inspired off the freeforms alone, feel free to stick to that. If you have any questions, please send them through the mod and I will be happy to answer.

DCEU:
Other Ships I like: Barry/Iris, Bruce/Selina (I know she didn't appear in the DCEU; I'm fine with going off other versions for characterization)
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the Justice League, Clark & Martha, Lois & Martha, Clark & Steve, Lois & Steve
Arthur/Mera: I really liked the Aquaman movie and I thought they were great together. I also liked the sporadic interactions we saw from them before that movie, and how their relationship grew from two people who didn't like one another and had to work together and how they slowly fell in love.
Prompts:
1. arranged marriage AU where Atlanna got to stay with her family in exchange for Arthur getting engaged to Mera when they're adults. Neither are happy ... at first.
2. Mera is engaged to the "outcast" Arthur as punishment
3. soulmate AU where they realize they're soulmates on first meeting. Maybe it is an Atlantean tradition and one Arthur doesn't even believe in
Clark/Lois: They're great together. I love how mature and loving their relationship is. Lois figuring out Clark and his identity and Clark appreciating Lois for believing in him even in MoS was lovely. I didn't see BvS but the scene where Clark tells Lois that she is his world gets to me. I'm so glad that they seem to be not only engaged but have a baby on the way in ZSJL.
Prompts:
1. their wedding day - whether it goes smoothly or Superman has to make an appearance is up to you
2. Krypton still exists and Kal-El is engaged to Lois as a show of peace between their worlds
3. they switch bodies and Clark has to teach her how to control his powers
Diana/Steve: I definitely fell for these two hard in the WW movie. I loved how they met, with Diana saving Steve, and how she took a risk to leave with him. The way he isn't intimidated by her and how they work together so well really sold me on the ship. I was happy to see Steve back in WW84 but I didn't like how he possessed someone else's body to return. AUs of the movie are more than welcome.
Prompts:
1. Diana finds a way to bring Steve back but it results in a soul bond
2. Diana ends up going undercover with a reincarnated Steve who doesn't seem to quite remember her (but maybe has been having some unexplained dreams)
3. Steve survives WW and how their lives come together
Elementary:
Other Ships I like: Joan/Marcus
Friendships/Gen: Sherlock & Marcus, Joan & Marcus, Joan & Ms. Hudson, Sherlock & Alfredo , Sherlock & Kitty, Joan & Kitty
Jamie/Joan: They're my favorite enemies ship. I find their dynamic so intriguing and full of chemistry. Jamie being fascinated by Joan and thinking she will get an upper hand and move on eventually but just *doesn't* and Joan actually outsmarting her is so much fun to watch.
Prompts:
1. The two of them taking on a common enemy (maybe to save Sherlock?)
2. Joan reluctantly helps Jamie with something related to her daughter (and feelings happen)
3. they're both undercover in the same place and they need to protect themselves and somehow now each other
Sherlock & Joan: I love their friendship and how they grew over the years. The way Sherlock not only cares about Joan but grows to respect her and how she can both call him out when he crosses the line really makes for a wonderful dynamic that I cherish. I like how at the end, they can freely admit that they love each other, especially Sherlock. They both have strengths and weaknesses and they balance each other out so well.
Prompts:
1. Joan is the one to fake her death and they deal with the separation and reunion
2. AU where Joan stays a doctor and Sherlock ends up in her hospital a lot and she eventually gets dragged into his cases
3. Sherlock has been kidnapped and Joan has to save him
Sherlock/Joan: As much as I love their friendship, I do ship them too. They had great chemistry and when Sherlock showed Joan his mom's ring, I couldn't help but root for him to propose to her with it. I didn't like Joan/Mycroft but I also would rather Joan not having slept with him as a substitute for Sherlock either. Feel free to use the gen prompts for this category too or vice versa if it fits.
Prompts:
1. friends with benefits; Joan is frustrated with her dating life and Sherlock offers her a release. Casual sex turns into real feelings
2. soulmate AU; I can see Sherlock not believing (at first) and Joan having mixed feelings. Maybe they decide to keep it platonic and then the feelings happen
TFATWS:
Fandom DNW: Steve/Steve's Endgame ending bashing, focus on Zemo, Bucky only having flirted with Sarah to make Sam jealous, past/present/unrequited Bucky/Steve or Sam/Steve
Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. Even though it is under TFATWS, I'm fine with fics set anywhere after TWS, pre-canon or total AUs.
Prompts:
1. They wake up married but before they can think to annul it, it gets out
2. soulmate AU- maybe hearing Sam's name even snaps the WS out of his brainwashing
3. one of them gets hurt and the other one has some realizations about feelings
Gilmore Girls:
Fandom DNW: Rory bashing/shaming, Jess "showing up" the other guys, Richard an Emily getting treated as if they didn't do anything wrong
Other Ships I like (for background): Sookie/Jackson, Paris/Jamie, Paris/Doyle, Emily/Richard. I'm fine with Lane/Zach if it is set in the later season
Friendships/Gen: Rory & Richard, Rory & Lane, Lorelai & Emily, Lorelai & Sookie, Lorelai & Rory, Rory & Paris, Paris & Jess, Jess & Lane, Jess & Dave, Jess & April, Jess & Lily
Lane/Dave: I really loved these two together. Lane is one of my favorite characters- she's funny, daring and loyal- and Dave was such a good guy. The way he was willing to deal with the secrecy even when it was complicated for them to see each other and read the whole Bible just to figure out what Mrs Kim meant was so great. I know they didn't work out because Adam Brody left to go on the OC but I wish it had. They seemed to really make each other happy.
Prompts:
1. after Lane gets kicked out, she finds her way to California and meets up with Dave
2. They don't break up and maintain a long distance relationship
3. Lane is working at Luke's and Dave is a frequent customer who is part of a band. One day, they need a replacement drummer.
Luke/Lorelai: One of my favorite friends to lovers ships. I really liked how they bantered and were there for each other, even in s7 when they were broken up. Plus there were tons of 'almost' moments and signs of feelings before they were able to admit it. And denial was another fun aspect of this ship too! Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I like AUs, fics set during any point of the show, the Revival or anything in between.
Prompts:
1. Luke meets Lorelai when Rory is still a baby/toddler and is attracted to her, but is still wary of children and Lorelai is skeptical of relationships because she wants to prioritize raising Rory
2. people assuming they're dating results in one or both not being able to stop thinking about it
3. Lorelai doesn't sleep with Christopher but she and Luke take a break anyway but they're pining
Paris/Rory: My favorite rivals to friends (to lovers) ship! Paris is a great character and I love her dynamics with Rory. Rory was so patient with her in the early seasons- she was able to stand up to Paris when necessary but also was open to listening her to and being there for her when she needed a shoulder. That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.
Prompts:
1. post GG Revival; Paris helps out Rory through her pregnancy and they develop feelings
2. they get into a FWB after the spring break era
3. Rory can't stop thinking about it after Paris kisses her
Rory/Jess: These two are one of my favorite ships. Some people like to read but for Rory and Jess, it is more than that, which is why their shared passion is so important. They found a connection with someone else who understood them. Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department. What I don't like though is that people acting like Rory doesn't deserve Jess or she has fallen too far off in the Revival. Sure she made mistakes but just like Rory accepted Jess, I don't think he would judge her for it and it's clear in canon he still believes in her. Another thing I love about them.
Prompts:
1. Rory and Jess don't break up at the end of s3 and try a long distance relationship while Jess figures out his life
2. Jess ends up getting closer to Rory post Revival with her book and unintentionally ends up helping with the pregnancy/baby
3. Rory discovers letters Jess wrote and never sent
Harry Potter:
Fandom DNW: evil Dumbledore (complicated is welcome), overpowerful Harry (if he is around), focus on Snape or Snape/Lily (past/present/unrequited)
Other Ships I like: Remus/Sirius; if they're present: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, Luna/Ginny, Harry/Draco (as long as Draco isn't made to be a woobie)
James/Lily: I just love them and how he grew and they fell for one another. Happier canon endings are always great but fics set before their death are also awesome and more than welcome, as are complete AUs.
Prompts:
1. an early battle against Voldemort/death eaters where they are in school- James throws himself in front of Lily and danger
2. Lily is flirting with James and he just doesn't get it, because she is too subtle and he is so happy that she wants to be his friend that he can't imagine she likes him back now (and she thinks he has gotten over her)
3. post Hogwarts but pre death era, where they're doing relationship stuff (moving in together, getting engaged, etc)
MCU:
Fandom DNW: Steve/Steve's Endgame ending bashing (feel free to ignore), rehash of CW conflict with bias toward one side (I'm Team Cap but I don't want to go over it again), past/present/unrequited Bucky/Steve or Sam/Steve
Other Ships I like: Bucky/Darcy, Clint/Coulson, Clint/Laura, Clint/Natasha, Natasha/Darcy, Natasha/Maria, Natasha/Sharon, Pepper/Tony, Nebula/Rhodey, Carol/Rhodey, Rhodey/Sam, Sam/Maria, Thor/Jane, Thor/Sif, T'Challa/Nakia, T'Challa/M'Baku, Nakia/Okoye, Bruce/Betty
Bucky/Natasha: I haven't read the comics but I think the potential of these two is intriguing. They both have darkish pasts that they struggle to go past and want to make the right choices. Both have a dry sense of humor and I feel like Natasha would enjoy teasing Bucky the way she does Steve. Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU. I am good with it being set during TFATWS too, with Natasha's death being handwaved or she is return when Steve returns the soul stone
Prompts:
1. Natasha is around during TFATWS and ends up matching with Bucky on the dating app he is on
2. Bucky survives the snap instead of Steve and the two of them get to know each other in that five year gap
3. Bucky recognizes Natasha in TWS and it breaks his conditioning so Hydra can't recapture him. Instead he goes after them
Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I'm fine with fics set anywhere after TWS, pre-canon or total AUs.
Prompts:
1. Sam runs into the WS pre movie
2. Sam jokingly proposes to Bucky and the media runs with it
3. have to go undercover as a couple
Erik Killmonger/Sam: I once read a fic about them and was just sold on the idea. They're both strong personalities who want to do what is right but have a very different way of going about it. I can see Sam being sympathetic but also no nonsense with Erik and Erik actually would appreciate that attitude.
Prompts:
1. they meet in college/maybe are roommates too
2. not Black Panther compliant; they had a fallout and then reunite after a certain point (pre canon and then after TWS sometime)
Natasha/Sam: I really liked these two during TWS. I thought they had good chemistry and I feel like their personalities mesh. They both have a sense of humor, have strong values and are very loyal and brave. It is one of the couples I really could've seen working in canon. Sam's one of my favorites- he's kind but no nonsense and has the attitude that Natasha would appreciate.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU where Natasha's mark was either damaged or removed in her past
2. Bodyguard AU where Sam's the new Captain America and they assign Natasha to protect him after he gains a stalker
3. Natasha and Sam had a one night stand pre-TWS
Peggy/Steve: I really loved them in TFA- the way Steve was amused at Peggy immediately and Peggy being interested in pre-serum Steve just won me over. Tons of UST. This is the ship I truly didn't think I would see together again, even though I appreciated all the moments of Steve loving Peggy in the present day and Peggy still loving Steve in Agent Carter so for them to get their dance and a happy ending in one timeline made me really happy.
Prompts:
1. modern coffeeshop AU; barista Steve and his favorite customer, Peggy
2. somehow Peggy ends up in the future
3. Peggy doesn't die in CW but instead some external power deages her
4. artist!Steve + Peggy as his muse
Pepper/Natasha: I liked the dynamic we got from Iron Man 2 and love the idea of them as a ship. I only ask that the Tony & Pepper relationship be respected, and that he is not an antagonist. I like those two as friends (and a canon couple even if I am not requesting it).
Prompts:
1. Natasha saves Pepper (or even better, vice versa)
2. one of them is flirting with the other and the other doesn't realize it
3. they had a one night stand pre-IM 2
Steve/Tony: I fell for them in the Avengers movie and they quickly became one of my OTPs. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.
Prompts:
1. An accident leaves Tony with partial amnesia and he forgets the events of CACW
2. they don't quite get along but they still keep having sex
3. they meet before Avengers while Steve is getting used to the world and maybe hook up without knowing who the other is
T'Challa/Sam: I liked their chemistry in CACW. They're two of my favorite characters and I think there is a fun potential there. I can see Sarah and Shuri totally getting along too.
Prompts:
1. T'Challa leaves Wakanda for college and meets Sam while pretending to be someone else
2. one of them gets very protective over the other
3. one of them is flirting and the other is oblivious
Smallville:
Fandom DNW: Arrowverse characters/fanon ships, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' (good with Clark and Lois having twins/being married but not with him permanently giving up his powers), focus on Chloe (I had issues with her starting in s8 and after what the actress did, I'm not all that comfortable reading about her)
Other Ships I like (for background): Martha/Jonathan, Lois/Kara, Kara/Jimmy, Kara/Lana, Kara/Chloe, Oliver/Dinah, Oliver/Chloe, Chloe/Victor, Chloe/George Dean (guy she was with in Apocalypse AU), Chloe/Lana, Chloe/Bart, Bart/Mia, AC/Mera, Lex/Lana (as long as he doesn't go evil), Lana/Jason (again, as long as he doesn't go evil), Tess/Emil
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the SV Justice League, Clark & Martha & Jonathan, Clark & Kara, Clark & Lana, Clark & Lois, Clark & Oliver, Clark & Lex, Clark & Tess, Lois & Lana, Lois & Martha
Clark/Lois: A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. Lois getting close to Clark's parents even before they were together (and how they love her) is another point that I appreciated. I like anything set during canon or divergences or post canon (or in that seven year gap) or complete AUs. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU; Lois doesn't recognize Clark's Kryptonian name or if it is symbols, maybe neither of them understand
2. arranged marriage AU where Krypton still exists; Kal-El and Lois are set to be married as a show of peace between the two planets
3. Clark gets amnesia post canon and he forgets that he's with Lois; she keeps it a secret for some reason (maybe they want him to remember naturally)
Clark/Lois/Oliver: My OT3. While I love the individual ships in it, I also love the dynamic they have as a trio. We didn't get to see as many scenes with just them as I would've liked but the ones were got were really great. They really balance one another out. Each of them has something in common with one of the others (Clark with Ollie, Clark with Lois, Lois with Ollie) but they're different enough to really make it interesting. I'm good with the three of them getting together at the same time or two of them already being together and including the third.
Prompts:
1. after Oliver's revelation that he is Green Arrow, he has to stay on the down low, and ends up hanging out with Lois & Clark more often. Feelings develop from there
2. Lois gets Clark to admit to a fantasy that he's had about a guy and it turns out it is Oliver; he overhears everything
3. Lois and Oliver get back together in s7 and Oliver notices how close Clark and Lois are getting. Maybe even he kissed Clark while they were undercover (and he told Lois about it). Then he comes up with a plan (once he checks with Lois, of course)
Clark/Oliver: Another OTP. I didn't expect to fall for them as hard as I did in s6 but I just loved their dynamic. The push and pull and the way they had this ultimate respect for one another was great but then it grew in s8-10. It was tough watching them fight but I did like how they always came back together, and even when they didn't agree, they cared about each other with Clark always believing Oliver was better and Oliver reminding Clark that the Kandorians weren't the only family that he had. One of my favorite moments was when Clark said that he hadn't quit on Oliver Queen in "Echo". One thing I do ask if that if you choose to set it in the later seasons that Lois doesn't get hurt. I am fine with handwaving the Clois romance rather than her having unrequited feelings or them breaking up because I adore her/don't want to see her hurt and I love Clois.
Prompts:
1. Superman's citizenship gets called into question and so he publicly marries Green Arrow
2. Clark meets Oliver on his red k summer and they end up on the island together
3. Clark pretends to be Oliver's fiance to see him in the hospital (maybe he has Oliver's parents ring that fell off during the fight that left him injured) and it turns out Oliver has amnesia
Lana/Tess: I know that they didn't have many scenes together but I really enjoyed what they did have and felt they had chemistry. They're both very complicated women who want to do what is right and be the hero and they both have pasts with being manipulated by Lex. They would make an interesting pair.
Prompts:
1. post canon AU where Tess survives and Lana keeps her powers without the kryptonite absorption; they now have to go undercover as a couple
2. one night stand turns into a friends with benefits situation
3. they wake up married
Lois/Lana: They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. They clearly get along very well and they had some good chemistry to which I can see them being a couple. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. On that note, please don't make Clark the villain or have them hook up because one or both are pining over him.
Prompts:
1. Lana meets Lois in Paris instead of Jason
2. Lana visits Chloe at Metropolis University and ends up hitting it off with Lois
3. they end up matching on a dating app
Lois/Tess: I fell for these two immediately after their first scene in "Odyssey". I have to admit I had my doubts on Tess because she seemed like too much of a Lex replacement but I was won over right away and I shipped these two a lot. They had such chemistry right off the bat and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU, where they have each other's initials. I imagine that with all the people with LL, it might get confusing, and Lois would not even know Tess's name is Lutessa so maybe she doesn't even think it could be her
2. Lois meets Tess before she ends up on the island
3. after a time travel incident, Lois returns to the present to find herself married to Tess
Star Trek (AOS):
Other Ships I like: Carol/Bones, Christine/Bones, Uhura/Bones, Gaila/Uhura, Amanda/Sarek
Friendships/Gen: any combo of the Enterprise command crew, Kirk & Bones, Kirk & Winona, Kirk & Amanda
Kirk/Spock: I'm a sucker for the frenemies to lovers dynamic, where the ship doesn't get along right away but has to work together and I loved it here too. I liked how they had their own biases against one another and then they both ended up growing along the way and needing each other.
Prompts:
1. Kirk jokingly proposes to Spock, but the media takes it seriously
2. one or both of them is flirting with the other and they just don't realize it (ex: Kirk flirting with Spock and Spock dismissing it as the way Kirk always is)
3. Kirk time travels and ends up saving Amanda
Suits:
Other Ships I Like: Rachel/Logan Sanders (as long as he's not evil), Donna/Stephen (again, as long as he isn't the bad guy, Donna/any canon love interest that isn't Harvey, Louis/Sheila
Friendships/Gen: Harvey & Donna, Harvey & Louis, Harvey & Jessica, Donna & Jessica, Donna & Rachel, Mike & Rachel, Jessica & Rachel, Rachel & Louis, Louis & Donna
Donna/Rachel: I first loved their friendship but they're just so cute together in general that I couldn't help shipping it. I love how they balance each other out and how they're there for each other during tough moments. Even when they fight, it is because they can be open with each other and then they can work things out. Plus, their first meeting that was shown in flashback is one of my favorite moments and I love that Donna clearly speaks highly of Rachel to others, like Harvey.
Prompts:
1. they start hooking up but one of them is worried they're just a rebound
2. Rachel gets protective over Donna
3. they wake up in bed together
Harvey/Mike: I loved the two of them so much. Mike really is the reason Harvey softened/started letting people in and the way they would go all out for each other made me melt. The loyalty is strong with these two and I'm here for every moment. I stopped watching after some point, and I do prefer earlier season fics but I'm fine with the fics being set in later seasons because I'm aware of the general plot (I know Mike goes to jail, etc).
Prompts:
1. Mike finds letters Harvey wrote to him at one of the times they were apart
2. they had a one night stand pre-canon
3. AU where Mike graduated/went to law school and is doing an internship at Pearson Hardman
Ted Lasso:
Fandom DNW: Sam/Rebecca - either there or Rebecca using Sam as a substitute for Ted, focus on Nate bashing/comeuppance - I'm fine with him realizing where he went wrong but I don't want it to be about all the other characters lecturing him
Other Ships I like: Sam/Dani
Friendships/Gen: any combo of AFC Richmond players, Ted & Beard, Ted & Roy, Ted & Jamie, Roy Beard, Roy & Jamie, Rebecca & Higgins, Rebecca & Keeley
Keeley/Roy: I just love their relationship on the show. How they came together, and how they communicate and make it over their hurdles and how *into* each other they are. Also so supportive and reassuring. Just the best.
Prompts:
1. Keeley ends up winning Roy in the auction
2. Roy was the player Keeley slept with when she was 18 (I know he wouldn't have been 23 but you can ignore that part) and they met again when she starts dating Jamie
3. pre-canon to early canon where Keeley dates football players and Roy is secretly pining
Keeley/Roy/Jamie: I like the potential of these three. Roy and Jamie have come so far, Roy and Keeley are adorable, and of course Keeley and Jamie's friendship is great too. Especially in the second half of season 2. The scene where Keeley and Roy get mad about that foul Jamie took in the finale? So in sync. Really plays to how this trio could work in a relationship.
Prompts:
1. Roy gets amnesia and becomes more like he was in his early twenties; Keeley and Jamie find it hot
2. Roy goes on vacation and with Keeley's insistence, Jamie ends up tagging along. They end up developing feelings and then Keeley joins in
3. Jamie thinks he is just there for sex; Keeley and Roy prove him wrong
Sam/Dani/Jamie: I like all the individual relationships here. Dani and Sam are just sunshine characters and I love how Dani was comfortable enough to jump into Sam's arms almost right after they met. Sam and Jamie's growth really gets to me, and I love how supportive Jamie is of Dani toward the end of s2. They were an unexpected duo that I love, especially considering how much Jamie was jealous of/didn't like Dani early on.
Prompts:
1. Jamie finds out Sam and Dani are together; he tries to be supportive but is also jealous
2. two of them are together and decide to woo the third
3. the three of them have a one night stand after drinking too much/celebrating
Sam/Jamie: The casual way Jamie drapes himself over Sam now and how far they've come really has sold me on the potential of this ship. The contrast between their relationship with their fathers is also intriguing. I like how that since Jamie hurt Sam worse than others, he had to work harder to win back his trust and forgiveness.
Prompts:
1. for some reason, it gets around that Sam and Jamie are together and when Jamie's dad calls him, he doubles down and ends up revealing they're engaged when they're not even together. Sam goes along with it
2. Jamie finds out about Sam and Rebecca and offers to cover for them by letting Sam tell people he is hanging out with Jamie so no one suspects. All while pining
3. they fall into a 'friends with benefits' relationship
Ted/Rebecca: I liked the idea of them in s1 but I really fell for them in s2. They've come along so far and even if there were episodes where they didn't directly interact as much or at all, they were clearly still in each other's lives, I especially liked how Rebecca was the one to notice Ted was having a panic attack or the moments during Rebecca's father's funeral, like Ted being the one to pick up the song and remind Rebecca of a happy moment of her father. There is this really strong connection even as friends and I think they could work as a couple too.
Prompts:
1. other people think they're dating and it affects one/both
2. Ted's already divorced when he gets the Richmond job and has a one night stand before his first day of work and it turns out that it was Rebecca
3. they're arguing and a confession of feelings slips out.
Thanks again!
Thank you for signing up for this exchange! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I hope the information I provided helps. I tried to include a few prompts for each pairing but if you're inspired off the freeforms alone, feel free to stick to that.
