In your own space, rec three fanworks that you did not create.

I think this hit home exactly how much I've just been jumping from exchange to exchange lately. I definitely want to read more fic this year that weren't just written for me (though I love all the ones that were). I still can't limit myself to 3 so I picked 5 fics and 5 fanart. Not all were from the past year of course.

Fanfic:

pumpkin mania by buries (Gilmore Girls, Rory/Jess, Luke/Lorelai, Lane/Dave, Teen, 6.8k)
Pumpkin Mania is here! Stars Hollow’s annual pumpkin carving contest and auction is back for another grand season of competitive pumpkin carving and robust bidding!
This year, Rory does her best to try and persuade Jess to sign up, Lane works hard to dissuade Dave from participating, Lorelai tries to trick Luke into participating, and Paris, well… Taylor Doose may update the event’s terms and conditions to uninvite her next year.
This one was for me but it is still amazing. I still can't believe that GG never had a Halloween episode but if it did, it could only hope to be as perfect as this fic.

Blue and White and Red All Over by anactoria (TFATWS/MCU, Sam/Bucky, Explicit, 3.4k)
Bucky gets heavily into Captain America merchandise, and Sam is in trouble.
The voices and characterizations are just spot on and it was awesome from beginning to end.

The Wedding Bet by uofmdragon (Bucky/Natasha, Clint/Coulson, Bucky & Clint, Teen, 6.9k) - other minor ships aka the wedding pairs are: Steve/Tony, T'Challa/Nakia, Alphonso/Yo Yo, Bobbie Morse/Maria Hill, Sif/Valkyrie
Bucky doesn't believe Natasha when she says that Clint and Phil will have sex after weddings. Natasha bets that they will.
Another enjoyable fic that really had me smiling throughout. I love Bucky and Natasha and I also ended up really liking Bucky and Clint's friendship too.

A Long Engagement, or the Improvement of Human Reason, as illustrated in the long and tortuous courtship of Edward Bennet, squire, and Philadelphia, Lady Darcy by hl, Tulina (Pride & Prejudice, Elizabeth/Darcy, General, 50,425)
This is a genderbent fic that I really enjoyed. I thought the changes to all the characters felt appropriate and it really sucked me in.

Harvey drags Mike on an impromptu shopping trip. Things develop from there...
Their Marvey fics always are my favorites. I really like the voices and the tension and how it all develops. I'm just a sucker for the pining and the jealousy.
