[personal profile] bradygirl_12 asked: DC Comics/Wonder Woman/What does she offer Man's World?

I'm going to start off by saying that my Wonder Woman knowledge is limited to the DCEU. While I also watched the animated Justice League show as a kid, I don't remember anything and the few comic books I've read didn't involve her.

I like to believe that her core character traits remain constant though - her compassion, her strength, and her belief in other people. As for what she has to offer to Man's World, well, where to even begin? First of all, I think she brings a unique perspective, given that her long life and all that she has seen, and having grown up amongst only women in a very differently structured society. For all that she and Superman get compared with another, because of their vast amount of powers, they've led very different lives.

Clark may be from another planet but he was sent to Earth and grew up amongst humans. Meanwhile, Diana grew up with her own people and chose to leave Themyscira. So she sees things in a way the people who grew up alongside humans don't, from the society structure and internal biases and what could be improved. On a positive note, she may even appreciate certain benefits that other people have come to take for granted. She has lived a long time and in the DCEU, by the time the Justice League movie came out, she's been around humans for a hundred years. Just a drop in the bucket for her yet long enough to see what a lot of major changes and mistakes that have been made. She's lived through war and the aftermath and the fight for rights and can recall what it looked like with an ease that few can and, not to get too political, she wouldn't allow the sugar coating of any history.

Outside of using her powers for good, she would be able to provide a unique wisdom to the League and humanity in general. Also she's a great inspiration for everyone, but I can especially see her being such a role model for young girls and women.
