The Princess Diaries (Movies)
Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis: I just love ships where the two of them clash immediately and then get to know one another/fall for each other, so it really worked for me. I love Mia period and watching her grow through the two movies was a lot of fun and I love the chemistry she had with Nicholas (the leg pop scene!). I like how they didn't have her marry him instead right away and she ruled alone at the end, with him coming to her and I would love fics set pre, during, or post the movie or complete AUs. Also, I liked Andrew so please don't bash him.

Adriana Diaz & Eddie Diaz & Sophia Diaz: I'm so curious about the relationship between Eddie and his sisters. We know that he was told to take responsibility at a young age (I think canon implied he's the middle child with the line about how Sophia did her college apps first plus he does mention having a 12 year old niece in 2.01, but he does give oldest sibling vibes) and how he tried to take care of them with the eggs story, but we haven't really heard from or seen them. I'd love any character/relationship studies with them pre canon or during canon.

Christopher Diaz & Eddie Diaz: Their relationship is so precious to me - definitely one of my favorites on the show. I love how patient and openly affectionate and loving Eddie is with Chris and how Chris is such a great kid, but is also not infallible, as we've seen him lash out and snap. Neither of them are perfect but they learn and grow together. It kills me that they're still estranged and I just want all them back together again.

1. anything post s7 where Eddie and Chris deal with the Kim situation (canon felt very vague with what he had been doing before that birthday scene)
2. Christopher growing up and their relationship over the years - it would be adult!Christopher has an issue (maybe not that extreme) with his own kid and Eddie unconsciously shows Chris the mistakes his own grandparents made by being more supportive to him
3. pre-canon - the years after Shannon left and right before Eddie started at the 118 (scenes like their move to LA and Eddie telling Chris that he's going to be a firefighter?)
Christopher Diaz & Evan "Buck" Buckley: I love their relationship. They not only love each other, but the fact that Christopher knows that he can rely on Buck when he's in trouble - he can go to him when he's mad at his dad or when he needs someone to call to help his dad says so much. Also Buck isn't just the cool "fun" uncle - when Chris runs away, he calls Eddie, he backs Eddie when he pulls the plug on the tech, and he even is good about negotiating cookies after dinner, to name a few instances. I know they're limited on screen time and they kind of wrote themselves in a corner, but is so weird that Buck hasn't really mentioned Christopher in s8 or vice versa. I am so curious where their relationship stands at this point or how it will be when Chris inevitably returns.

1. Eddie accidentally wishes himself out of existence (maybe he's at Shannon's grave and says he thinks it would be better if he had died instead of her and then they get swapped); Buck and Chris are the only ones who remember how it was before

Evan "Buck" Buckley/Eddie Diaz: They're my OTP and I love everything about them. From the initial hostility to their quick friendship and easy chemistry. The way they react to (almost) losing each other. I love how important they are to one another, how they've clashed (and I don't blame one side for the lawsuit mess) and come back, and how they support each other in ways they can't get from anyone else (here for Eddie telling Buck that he didn't owe his parents an apology). I'm so soft for the fact that Eddie told Buck on the balcony scene about how Maddie is the one that needs to be taken care of and then ten episodes later, Buck is breaking down Eddie's door and taking care of him. And how supportive Eddie was of Buck coming out! I'm fine with mentions of Buck/Tommy but in canon divergences in s7/post s7/early s8 fics, I'd rather them be mostly off screen and please no blatant Tommy (or Shannon/Ana/Taylor/Marisol) bashing stories either. I don't want him to be a cheerleader for Buddie or the blatant villain either.

1. 5+1 - Eddie attempts woo an oblivious Buck and when he thinks he's been rejected, he tries to get over him, kind of like a 5 times he tries and the one time he doesn't have to

Evan Buckley & Maddie Buckley: They're such good siblings and I love them so much. Their shared bond and how Maddie pretty much raised Buck really gets to me. They both deserved so much more from their parents. I love how they can tease and be playful but also they can be there for one another and tell it to each other straight when needed. He was her first kid! And they know it! Also the pinky swear ritual they have is very cute!

Maddie Buckley & Eddie Diaz: I really wish we could see them interact. As much as I'm glad that they didn't go through with the original plan to have them get together, I do believe they could be friends. There's definitely some parallels and similarities, between how they are the older siblings who were given added responsibilities too early and some of their struggles and could support/advise each other in a different way.

1. Eddie is one of the dancers on Dancing with the Stars and Maddie gets signed up during a special "first responders" edition
2. Maddie leaves/ends up in El Paso earlier instead of LA because she is worried about leading Doug to Buck and meets/befriends Eddie before he leaves

Crossover Fandom:
Fandom DNW: bashing canon love interests (Lois, Steve, Rory, etc)
Arthur Curry (Aquaman 2006)/Clark Kent (Smallville): I won't pretend that Justin Hartley playing AC doesn't have a part of this. I love their chemistry and ship them on Smallville for sure. But I also was interested in what I saw of the Aquaman TV show and thought it did have a lot of potential. I'm not totally sorry it didn't work out because it did bring JH to Smallville and his Oliver is my favorite, but also I genuinely do wish we could've seen more and I think Clark and AC, who both had to find about their own pasts and discover who they are would really understand each other. You can handwave Smallville AC if you would like, if you want to have them meet after s5.

Diana Prince (DCEU)/Natasha Romanov (MCU): Diana and Natasha have potential and I can see them being interested in one another. They've both experienced loss and pain but they still fight for the better of the world and are the backbones of their respective teams.

2. Diana is a high profile diplomat and Natasha is assigned as her bodyguard
3. Natasha time travels and ends up in Themyscira at the start of the first WW movie or even earlier
James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU)/Eddie Diaz (9-1-1): I just think it'd be neat and not because his nickname is similar to Eddie's best friend. They're both vets with a snarky sense of humor who have been through some stuff but come out of the other end still kind and good. I think it would just be fun and I could see them both being slightly amused at the nickname thing - I could see Eddie preferring to call Bucky "James" but it would work both ways. I don't ship Stucky though so I would rather not have them connect because they're both pining over their respective best friends. I'm okay with Buck/Tommy as a background ship - like mentions of them. Say if you use the bar prompt and go with Eddie being there alone because Buck had a date, but I'd rather they didn't have a focus/presence, like Buck and Tommy setting Eddie up or double dates and the like.
Prompts:
1. They meet at a bar and connect - one night stand/casual sex turns into something more
2. Bucky saves Eddie's life - they could either meet right after or Bucky disappears immediately, leaving Eddie to be curious over who saved his life, especially if he was the only one who saw him
3. they end up meeting on a forum or are pen pals (maybe a modern AU where they're both vets connecting and matching anonymously on that basis)
James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU)/Evan "Buck" Buckley (9-1-1)/Eddie Diaz (9-1-1): Basically see above and add Buck. I definitely think Buck and Bucky would enjoy trolling the rest of the 118 a little bit but also if Eddie and Bucky get together or become friends first, Buck would definitely be thrown off and I wouldn't be surprised if his abandonment issues kick in.
Prompts:
1. Buck and Bucky are both on the same football/baseball team and Eddie is newly signed/traded
2. Bucky and Eddie get together when Buck is still with Tommy and after those two breakup, Buck ends up spending more time with the two them and develops feelings (which of course are mutual)

Peggy Carter (MCU)/Diana Prince (DCEU): Obviously they've both experienced the loss of their blond haired Steve to plane accidents but I think they're both tough women who are compassionate and have enough differences to make a fun ship. They're both a little jaded but still have a lot of hope/always want to do what's right, and I can see them drawn to one another.

James T. Kirk (ST:AOS)/Diana Prince (DCEU): Of course, again, the fact that Kirk is played by Chris Pine and I ship Diana/Steve does play a part, but I think that specific angst makes it more interesting. Kirk and Steve are very different and I imagine it would be jarring to see someone with Steve's face but nothing like Steve for Diana. I love both characters a lot and I can see Kirk flirting with Diana, getting the brush off, but somehow, being even more intrigued. Diana would probably initially want to keep her distance from this Steve doppleganger but it would be interesting if she couldn't stay away and liked Kirk for his own merits.

2. Kirk ends up in Themyscira in the first WW movie instead of Steve
3. Diana is an artist and Kirk is a model. I can see him being flirty and her wanting to be professional but somehow charmed
Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)/Peyton Sawyer (One Tree Hill): For some reason, I'm really fascinated with the idea of these two. They're both interested in music and while Peyton isn't as big a reader as Jess is, I think they would get along, after maybe initially being snarky and clashing if they met when they're teenagers.
Prompts:
1. Jess ends up in Tree Hill instead of Stars Hollow when his mom sends him away
2. they meet in California, when Jess is with his father and Peyton has moved there after high school
3. Peyton's label has signed Lane's band and they meet through them (maybe at a show)
Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls)/Lucas Scott (One Tree Hill): I thought they had chemistry when CMM played Tristan but I think character wise, Lucas would be much more fitting for Rory. Even though Lucas plays basketball, they both love to read and love music and are a bit more on the reserved/introverted side. Also they were both raised by single moms and have a couple of issues with their father (though Dan is definitely worse than Christopher).

DCEU:
Other Ships I like (for background): Arthur/Mera, Barry/Iris, Bruce/Selina (I know she wasn't in the DCEU so you can use your favorite interpretation)

Clark Kent/Lois Lane: They're great together. I love how mature and loving their relationship is. Lois figuring out Clark and his identity and Clark appreciating Lois for believing in him even in MoS was lovely. I didn't see BvS but the scene where Clark tells Lois that she is his world gets to me. I love the way that she was the one who calmed him down and brought him back post resurrection and I'm so glad that they seem to be not only engaged but have a baby after the ZSJL.

2. AU where Lois ends up on Krypton as a child instead of the other way around
3. anything in between Man of Steel and BvS where Clark is adjusting to being Superman, a reporter, and the two of them developing a relationship
Diana Prince: Diana is a wonderful character. She's strong, compassionate, and fights for what she believes in. I really am curious to see how she settled in between the WW movies and the Justice League movie and how she's settled in/managing her dual life.
Prompts:
1. post WW 1 - how did Diana end up at the Louvre? Does she visit Themyscira again? What are her relationships with Etta and the like?
2. Diana's childhood and training - how she developed and her dynamics with her mother and everyone around her, especially since she was the only "child"
3. post Justice League movie, where she's building the League and how maybe she finds new members and prepares for future threats
Diana & Lois Lane: I wish we could've seen them together, because I think they could've gotten along. Amy Adams and Gal Gadot had good chemistry in their interviews and that could've translated. They're both strong, passionate women and I think they could each use a friend, especially after BvS. Diana knows what it is like to lose a loved one and they could've bonded (I wish it had been Diana instead of J'onn pretending to be Martha in that apartment scene).

Diana (Wonder Woman)/Steve Trevor: I definitely fell for these two hard in the WW movie. I loved how they met, with Diana saving Steve, and how she took a risk to leave with him. The way he isn't intimidated by her and how they work together so well really sold me on the ship. I was happy to see Steve back in WW84 but I didn't like how he possessed someone else's body to return. AUs of the movie are also more than welcome.

Enola/Tewksbury: I really just love these two together - they have such great chemistry. I liked how they became friends and how much she ended up liking him and how he clearly admires/respects her. The way she was in denial about her own feelings and then went on to think that it wasn't possible/couldn't see that it was mutual and the way he tried to tell her and she didn't get it until later was one of my favorite parts of the second movie.
Prompts:
1. modern AU - she's a detective and he runs a flower shop
2. arranged marriage AU where they're set up by relatives and she hates the thought of it but grows to like him despite herself
3. any sort of case fic - I haven't read the books but anything adapted from there or something you come up with yourself
Gilmore Girls:
Fandom DNW: Rory bashing/shaming, Jess "showing up" other characters (especially Rory's exes and Christopher), Emily and Richard getting treated as if they didn't do anything wrong

Jess Mariano: He was one of my favorite characters on the show. I like that we saw this broody boy who, to be fair, had reason to be upset that he was stuck in Stars Hollow (as much as I love him, Luke was pretty much forced in taking him) and we saw him really grow. Even though he may not have been serious about school but he was clearly a hard worker, as proven by the fact that he got Employee of the Month and he took steps to changing himself in s4 by reading the self help book. I like how his relationship with Luke was at the heart of his development and that we not only saw the potential but saw him live up to it and it stuck in the Revival, which was one of my favorite parts. It was really heartwarming to see him stable and be supportive to both Luke and Rory.
Prompts:
1. AU where Jess grew up in Stars Hollow (with or without Liz)
2. Jess in between s4 & s6 - writing his book, making friends with Matt & Chris and working at the Truncheon
3. Jess getting to know April and/or Doula
Lane Kim: She's one of my favorite characters on the show, with how loyal and snarky and just generally awesome she is. I think she's a good friend and a good daughter, and the way she tries to balance her mom's expectations with what she wants is so interesting, especially as it topples over when her mom find out. I know that being a successful musician is kind of a long shot and it was good that she was still doing it as a hobby, but overall, I did want better for her. The fact she got pregnant after having one round of bad sex and then ended up taking over her mom's antique shop was not the ending I saw for her.
Prompts:
1. an exploration of her relationship with her mother (and Lorelai and Rory too) as she becomes one herself
2. Lane ends up leaving the city/state for college and exploring
3. au where Lane doesn't get pregnant, and the band decides to give their career a real shot - struggles, playing in random festivals, etc
Lane/Dave: I really loved these two together. Lane is one of my favorite characters- she's funny, daring and loyal- and Dave was such a good guy. The way he was willing to go along with the secrecy even when it was complicated for them to see each other and read the whole Bible just to figure out what Mrs Kim meant was so great. I know they didn't work out because Adam Brody left to go on the OC but I wish it had. They seemed to really make each other happy.
Prompts:
1. after Lane gets kicked out, she finds her way to California and meets up with Dave
2. meeting at a music festival (either as guests or being in different bands)
3. Lane is working at Luke's and Dave is a frequent customer who is part of a band. One day, they need a replacement drummer.
Lorelai & Rory: I really loved this mother/daughter relationship. It wasn't perfect but that makes it all that more interesting. Lorelai did her best to give Rory a good life and prioritize her and it was very clear that Rory appreciated all the sacrifices her mom made for her. For all that the show tries to push the narrative, especially in the Revival, that everyone turns out like their parents, Lorelai and Rory are shown to be very different people and I think it is worth thinking about how that affects them as she got older/did her own thing.
Prompts:
1. in which Rory has more internships abroad or her dream job puts her in more dangerous situations and Lorelai having to deal with that
2. AU where Lorelai didn't leave home with Rory. How their lives and relationship changed as Rory grew up with her grandparents
3. post AYITL and Rory becoming a mother/Lorelai helping her and the two of them learning together
Luke/Lorelai: One of my favorite friends to lovers ships. I really liked how they bantered and were there for each other, even in s7 when they were broken up. Plus there were tons of 'almost' moments and signs of feelings before they were able to admit it. And denial was another fun aspect of this ship too! Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I like AUs, fics set during any point of the show, the Revival or anything in between.
Prompts:
1. times where they pretended to be a couple and the one time they don't have to pretend
2. Luke tells Lorelai about April immediately and they figure it out together
3. Chilton is a boarding school and Luke & Lorelai meet there
Luke & Jess: Their relationship is one of my favorites on the show. I like how they were both uncertain and edgy - as much as I love Luke, he did take in Jess reluctantly - and then grew so close. Luke did want what was best for Jess, even when he didn't know how to express it, and Jess really grew to appreciate Luke's support and loyalty. Jess being there and supporting Luke in the Revival was one of the highlights for sure.

Paris/Rory: My favorite rivals to friends (to lovers) ship! Paris is a great character and I love her dynamics with Rory. Rory was so patient with her in the early seasons- she was able to stand up to Paris when necessary but also was open to listening her to and being there for her when she needed a shoulder. That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.

Rory Gilmore: Rory is another of my favorite characters. She's kind, smart, and hardworking and she just wants to believe in the best in people while still being able to stand up for herself (as showing with both Paris and Jess). While she does make mistakes and has had her stumbles, I do think she does take responsibility for her actions and does her best to fix them. I was a little let down by the Revival but I've since come around and don't think she's not as far gone as people seem to believe.

Rory/Jess: These two are one of my favorite ships. Some people like to read but for Rory and Jess, it is more than that, which is why their shared passion is so important. Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department. What I don't like though is that people acting like Rory doesn't deserve Jess or she has fallen too far off in the Revival. Sure she made mistakes but just like Rory accepted Jess, I don't think he would judge her for it and it's clear in canon he still believes in her. Another thing I love about them.

Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU. I am good with it being set during TFATWS too, with Natasha's death being handwaved or she is return when Steve returns the soul stone

Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. I'm fine with fics set anywhere after TWS, pre-canon, TFATWS, or total AUs.

Peggy/Steve: I really loved them in TFA- the way Steve was amused at Peggy immediately and Peggy being interested in pre-serum Steve just won me over. Tons of UST. This is the ship I truly didn't think I would see together again, even though I appreciated all the moments of Steve loving Peggy in the present day and Peggy still loving Steve in Agent Carter so for them to get their dance and a happy ending in one timeline made me really happy.

1. Peggy got some version of the serum and she is on the plane when it crashes and they both end up in the future
2. Steve is found sooner and he and Peggy adjust to live with the added celebrity of Captain America

Steve Rogers: He's one of my favorite characters. He's brave and stubborn and fights for what he believes in. He's not flawless but that makes him more interesting. And he has a sense of humor/can be a bit of a troll, which makes him fun too. The deleted scenes from The Avengers where he is going around/adjusting to life in the present really make me sympathize with his situation even more. My unpopular opinion is that his Endgame ending did make sense, since I never really saw him totally adjusting and learning to *live* in the present, just accept his circumstances and I do believe what happened in the five years/losing Natasha really did play a huge part, since she was all he had for so long. That being said, I do enjoy fics where he does adjust and isn't just jumping from crisis to crisis. But I'd love anything from any point of canon, whether that is pre-TFA all the way up to Endgame or total AUs.

Steve/Tony: I fell for them in the Avengers movie and they quickly became one of my OTPs. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.

It'd also be great to see Kara finding her own footing and see where she lands up, outside of Supergirl.

Clark/Lois: A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. Lois getting close to Clark's parents even before they were together (and how they love her) is another point that I appreciated. I like anything set during canon or divergences or post canon (or in that seven year gap) or complete AUs. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.

Clark/Lois/Oliver: My OT3. While I love the individual ships in it, I also love the dynamic they have as a trio. We didn't get to see as many scenes with just them as I would've liked but the ones were got were really great. They really balance one another out. Each of them has something in common with one of the others (Clark with Ollie, Clark with Lois, Lois with Ollie) but they're different enough to really make it interesting. I'm good with the three of them getting together at the same time or two of them already being together and including the third.

1. Oliver's around when Clark and Lois break into his apartment in "Crimson" and they seduce him
2. Oliver hangs out with Lois & Clark post Green Arrow reveal and has feelings for both of them
3. Oliver and Lois have gotten back together/never broken up and he notices the chemistry between Clark & Lois. Then he realizes Clark is into him too and makes a plan (after consulting Lois); bonus: he and Clark kissed as a distraction and he wasn't able to stop thinking about it
Clark/Oliver: Another OTP. I didn't expect to fall for them as hard as I did in s6 but I just loved their dynamic. The push and pull and the way they had this ultimate respect for one another was great but then it grew in s8-10. It was tough watching them fight but I did like how they always came back together, and even when they didn't agree, they cared about each other with Clark always believing Oliver was better and Oliver reminding Clark that the Kandorians weren't the only family that he had. One of my favorite moments was when Clark said that he hadn't quit on Oliver Queen in "Echo". One thing I do ask if that if you choose to set it in the later seasons that Lois doesn't get hurt. I am fine with handwaving the Clois romance rather than her having unrequited feelings or them breaking up because I adore her/don't want to see her hurt and I love Clois.
Prompts:
1. Oliver is the one to hit Clark instead of Lex in the Pilot. I can't see Oliver really being down with hanging out with a teenager but maybe they keep running into each other and become friends (and then more)
2. one of them gets hurt and the other one seems to not be visiting but it turns out that they're taking the night shift so others can rest/they can protect them when they're most vulnerable

Lois/Lana: They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. They clearly get along very well and they had some good chemistry to which I can see them being a couple. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. On that note, please don't make Clark the villain or have them hook up because one or both are pining over him.

They had such chemistry right off the bat and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.

Neither of them are perfect but they learn and grow together. It kills me that they're still estranged and I just want all them back together again.

Also Buck isn't just the cool "fun" uncle - when Chris runs away, he calls Eddie, he backs Eddie when he pulls the plug on the tech, and he even is good about negotiating cookies after dinner, to name a few instances. I know they're limited on screen time and they kind of wrote themselves in a corner, but is so weird that Buck hasn't really mentioned Christopher in s8 or vice versa. I am so curious where their relationship stands at this point or how it will be when Chris inevitably returns.

I love how important they are to one another, how they've clashed (and I don't blame one side for the lawsuit mess) and come back, and how they support each other in ways they can't get from anyone else (here for Eddie telling Buck that he didn't owe his parents an apology). I'm so soft for the fact that Eddie told Buck on the balcony scene about how Maddie is the one that needs to be taken care of and then ten episodes later, Buck is breaking down Eddie's door and taking care of him. And how supportive Eddie was of Buck coming out! I'm fine with mentions of Buck/Tommy but in canon divergences in s7/post s7/early s8 fics, I'd rather them be mostly off screen and please no blatant Tommy (or Shannon/Ana/Taylor/Marisol) bashing stories either. I don't want him to be a cheerleader for Buddie or the blatant villain either.

Say if you use the bar prompt and go with Eddie being there alone because Buck had a date, but I'd rather they didn't have a focus/presence, like Buck and Tommy setting Eddie up or double dates and the like.

I love both characters a lot and I can see Kirk flirting with Diana, getting the brush off, but somehow, being even more intrigued. Diana would probably initially want to keep her distance from this Steve doppleganger but it would be interesting if she couldn't stay away and liked Kirk for his own merits.

I like how his relationship with Luke was at the heart of his development and that we not only saw the potential but saw him live up to it and it stuck in the Revival, which was one of my favorite parts. It was really heartwarming to see him stable and be supportive to both Luke and Rory.

I know that being a successful musician is kind of a long shot and it was good that she was still doing it as a hobby, but overall, I did want better for her. The fact she got pregnant after having one round of bad sex and then ended up taking over her mom's antique shop was not the ending I saw for her.

I know they didn't work out because Adam Brody left to go on the OC but I wish it had. They seemed to really make each other happy.

Lorelai did her best to give Rory a good life and prioritize her and it was very clear that Rory appreciated all the sacrifices her mom made for her. For all that the show tries to push the narrative, especially in the Revival, that everyone turns out like their parents, Lorelai and Rory are shown to be very different people and I think it is worth thinking about how that affects them as she got older/did her own thing.

Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I like AUs, fics set during any point of the show, the Revival or anything in between.

Jess being there and supporting Luke in the Revival was one of the highlights for sure.

That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.

I was a little let down by the Revival but I've since come around and don't think she's not as far gone as people seem to believe.

Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department. What I don't like though is that people acting like Rory doesn't deserve Jess or she has fallen too far off in the Revival. Sure she made mistakes but just like Rory accepted Jess, I don't think he would judge her for it and it's clear in canon he still believes in her. Another thing I love about them.

Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU. I am good with it being set during TFATWS too, with Natasha's death being handwaved or she is return when Steve returns the soul stone

Bucky/Sam: I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. I'm fine with fics set anywhere after TWS, pre-canon, TFATWS, or total AUs.

This is the ship I truly didn't think I would see together again, even though I appreciated all the moments of Steve loving Peggy in the present day and Peggy still loving Steve in Agent Carter so for them to get their dance and a happy ending in one timeline made me really happy.

2. Steve is found sooner and he and Peggy adjust to live with the added celebrity of Captain America

Steve Rogers: He's one of my favorite characters. He's brave and stubborn and fights for what he believes in. He's not flawless but that makes him more interesting. And he has a sense of humor/can be a bit of a troll, which makes him fun too. The deleted scenes from The Avengers where he is going around/adjusting to life in the present really make me sympathize with his situation even more. My unpopular opinion is that his Endgame ending did make sense, since I never really saw him totally adjusting and learning to *live* in the present, just accept his circumstances and I do believe what happened in the five years/losing Natasha really did play a huge part, since she was all he had for so long. That being said, I do enjoy fics where he does adjust and isn't just jumping from crisis to crisis. But I'd love anything from any point of canon, whether that is pre-TFA all the way up to Endgame or total AUs.

Steve/Tony: I fell for them in the Avengers movie and they quickly became one of my OTPs. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.

Clark & Jonathan & Martha: The Kent family was one of my favorite dynamics of the early seasons and I think the show did lose something as they lost the parent figures in the later seasons. They're all flawed in their own ways but it is clear at the end of the day, they do love each other and are probably the most stable family in the show.

Clark & Kara: I really liked the idea of these two and I wish we could've seen more of them in s7. Clark having stable Kryptonian family that could teach him about his history (Raya was the only other one that got close - I'm not all that fond of the AI) and culture would've been nice. It'd also be great to see Kara finding her own footing and see where she lands up, outside of Supergirl.

3. AU where Kara's ship opened and then she finds/takes care of Clark herself
Clark/Lois: A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. Lois getting close to Clark's parents even before they were together (and how they love her) is another point that I appreciated. I like anything set during canon or divergences or post canon (or in that seven year gap) or complete AUs. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.
Prompts:
1. Lois doesn't come back when she leaves in s4 and they run into each other at the Daily Planet as adults
2. Clark goes through the portal at the end of Salvation; how they deal with their separation and their eventual reunion
3. Lois remembering one of the things she didn't in canon (what happened in 'Crimson', keeping her memories after Clark turned back time in 'Identity', retaining her memories after 'Pandora') and how that changes things for them
Clark/Lois/Oliver: My OT3. While I love the individual ships in it, I also love the dynamic they have as a trio. We didn't get to see as many scenes with just them as I would've liked but the ones were got were really great. They really balance one another out. Each of them has something in common with one of the others (Clark with Ollie, Clark with Lois, Lois with Ollie) but they're different enough to really make it interesting. I'm good with the three of them getting together at the same time or two of them already being together and including the third.
Prompts:
1. Oliver's around when Clark and Lois break into his apartment in "Crimson" and they seduce him
2. Oliver hangs out with Lois & Clark post Green Arrow reveal and has feelings for both of them
3. Oliver and Lois have gotten back together/never broken up and he notices the chemistry between Clark & Lois. Then he realizes Clark is into him too and makes a plan (after consulting Lois); bonus: he and Clark kissed as a distraction and he wasn't able to stop thinking about it
Clark/Oliver: Another OTP. I didn't expect to fall for them as hard as I did in s6 but I just loved their dynamic. The push and pull and the way they had this ultimate respect for one another was great but then it grew in s8-10. It was tough watching them fight but I did like how they always came back together, and even when they didn't agree, they cared about each other with Clark always believing Oliver was better and Oliver reminding Clark that the Kandorians weren't the only family that he had. One of my favorite moments was when Clark said that he hadn't quit on Oliver Queen in "Echo". One thing I do ask if that if you choose to set it in the later seasons that Lois doesn't get hurt. I am fine with handwaving the Clois romance rather than her having unrequited feelings or them breaking up because I adore her/don't want to see her hurt and I love Clois.
Prompts:
1. Oliver is the one to hit Clark instead of Lex in the Pilot. I can't see Oliver really being down with hanging out with a teenager but maybe they keep running into each other and become friends (and then more)
2. one of them gets hurt and the other one seems to not be visiting but it turns out that they're taking the night shift so others can rest/they can protect them when they're most vulnerable
3. Clark meets Oliver during his red k summer and Oliver invites him on his yacht so they both land up on the island
Lois/Lana: They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. They clearly get along very well and they had some good chemistry to which I can see them being a couple. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. On that note, please don't make Clark the villain or have them hook up because one or both are pining over him.

1. Lois doesn't get kicked out of college and then she needs a roommate
2. Lana meets Lois in Paris instead of Jason
3. Lana keeps her powers and rescues Lois, who is curious about the new hero in town
Lois/Tess: I fell for these two immediately after their first scene in "Odyssey". I have to admit I had my doubts on Tess because she seemed like too much of a Lex replacement but I was won over right away and I shipped these two a lot. They had such chemistry right off the bat and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.
Prompts:
1. soulmate AU, where they have each other's initials. I imagine that with all the people with LL, it might get confusing, and Lois would not even know Tess's name is Lutessa so maybe she doesn't even think it could be her
2. Lois meets Tess before she ends up on the island
3. Lois gets roped into participating in a charity auction; Tess bids on/wins
Lana/Tess: They may not have had many scenes together but what they did have sold me on the chemistry and potential. Both of them are complicated and want to do what is right/be the hero (Tess has obviously had more stumbles than Lana) and they were each manipulated by Lex at some point. Lana already believed in Tess when they met in s8 and I think they would get along even better if they spent time in later seasons together, especially after Tess switches sides.

2. accidental soulbond when they touch an artifact they found while working together
3. different first meeting- Tess shows up to Smallville when Lex is still alive and meets Lana

Kirk/Spock: I'm a sucker for the frenemies to lovers dynamic, where the ship doesn't get along right away but has to work together and I loved it here too (I was definitely won over by the whole "see we're already getting to know each other" in XI). I liked how they had their own biases against one another and then they both ended up growing along the way and needing each other. While I had my issues with 'Into Darkness', Spock getting emotional over Kirk's death and going nuts on Khan does get to me.
Prompts:
1. Kirk jokingly proposes to Spock, but the media takes it seriously
2. Kirk time travels and ends up saving Amanda
3. they meet as kids (maybe Amanda and Winona were/are friends) and keep in touch
