awww...that is cute.

My daughter used to make me things like that. My favourite one she ever gave me was a card, she'd written I LOVE MUMMY in huge letters, with a drawing of me. Then right at the bottom in tiny letters, she'd added and dadd and run out of room for his name.

I always giggle at that. I am evil.

I think it's natural to want to relate and I guess, depending on the person and circumstance, people don't always appreciate it (and it may not be appropriate), but I like to believe intentions matter too.

I think it's a social media thing- people used to share experiences but now social media has come along, many of them expect to have a platform to talk about themselves and no one is allowed to talk about anything else. I see so many people trying desperately to get 1000s of followers so they can lecture them. That's not me at all, I like a small group of friends I can get to know well.

That's probably plays a part too. There's definitely people who want it as a way to get attention and use it as a platform to gain attention. It's obviously and understandably not for everyone.

This is absolute perfection!!!! When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be a rare and fluffy Jonathan/Martha gem, but this was even better! You thought of all the sweet details here too, from Jonathan running before his wife and kid could see his happy tears to the mention of Lana and Pete starring in Clark's schoolboy tales. Also love the fact that he's using a Captain America backpack! Like I said, just sheer, absolute perfection!! <3 <3 <3
