Christopher Diaz & Eddie Diaz (hurt Eddie, hurt Chris): Their relationship is so precious to me - definitely one of my favorites on the show. I love how patient and openly affectionate and loving Eddie is with Chris and how Chris is such a great kid, but is also not infallible, as we've seen him lash out and snap. Neither of them are perfect but they learn and grow together. It kills me that they're still estranged and I am definitely excited about their reunion in 8b.

Evan Buckley & Christopher Diaz (hurt Buck): I love their relationship. They not only love each other, but the fact that Christopher knows that he can rely on Buck when he's in trouble - he can go to him when he's mad at his dad or when he needs someone to call to help his dad says so much. Also Buck isn't just the cool "fun" uncle - when Chris runs away, he calls Eddie, he backs Eddie when he pulls the plug on the tech, and he even is good about negotiating cookies after dinner, to name a few instances. I am so curious where their relationship stands at this point or how it will be when Chris inevitably returns, especially since Oliver Stark said in an interview that he doesn't think they're talking to each other.

Evan Buckley & Christopher Diaz & Eddie Diaz (hurt Eddie): I love this trio dynamic so much - of course I think Eddie is a great dad (even though the Kim stuff was wild) and Buck has such a strong relationship with Christopher and I like moments with the three of them casually having dinner or playing video games in the early seasons. And the serious, heartfelt moments are so strong too - I like that Chris feels he can rely on Buck and knows to call him when his dad is in trouble. They just look comfortable together and just are a family.

Evan "Buck" Buckley/Eddie Diaz (hurt Eddie, hurt Buck): They're my OTP and I love everything about them. From the initial hostility to their quick friendship and easy chemistry. The way they react to (almost) losing each other. I love how important they are to one another, how they've clashed (and I don't blame one side for the lawsuit mess) and come back, and how they support each other in ways they can't get from anyone else (here for Eddie telling Buck that he didn't owe his parents an apology). I'm so soft for the fact that Eddie told Buck on the balcony scene about how Maddie is the one that needs to be taken care of and then ten episodes later, Buck is breaking down Eddie's door and taking care of him. And how supportive Eddie was of Buck coming out! I'm fine with mentions of Buck/Tommy but in canon divergences in s7/post s7/early s8 fics, I'd rather them be mostly off screen and please no blatant Tommy (or Shannon/Ana/Taylor/Marisol) bashing stories either. I don't want him to be a cheerleader for Buddie or the blatant villain either.

They both deserved so much more from their parents. I love how they can tease and be playful but also they can be there for one another and tell it to each other straight when needed. He was her first kid! And they know it! Also the pinky swear ritual they have is very cute!

There's definitely some parallels and similarities, between how they are the older siblings who were given added responsibilities too early and some of their struggles and could support/advise each other in a different way.

Fandom DNW: bashing canon love interests (Lois, Rory, Steve, etc)

Arthur Curry (Aquaman 2006)/Clark Kent (Smallville) (hurt Clark, hurt Arthur): I won't pretend that Justin Hartley playing AC doesn't have a part of this. I love their chemistry and ship them on Smallville for sure. But I also was interested in what I saw of the Aquaman TV show and thought it did have a lot of potential. I'm not totally sorry it didn't work out because it did bring JH to Smallville and his Oliver is my favorite, but also I genuinely do wish we could've seen more and I think Clark and AC, who both had to find about their own pasts and discover who they are would really understand each other. You can handwave Smallville AC if you would like, if you want to have them meet after s5.

2. AU where Natasha is Diana's bodyguard and gets hurt protecting her (Diana could still be WW if you want and her identity is just a secret and that could lead to a reveal)

James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU)/Eddie Diaz (9-1-1) (hurt Eddie, hurt Bucky): I just think it'd be neat and not because his nickname is similar to Eddie's best friend. They're both vets with a snarky sense of humor who have been through some stuff but come out of the other end still kind and good. I think it would just be fun and I could see them both being slightly amused at the nickname thing - I could see Eddie preferring to call Bucky "James" but it would work both ways. I don't ship Stucky though so I would rather not have them connect because they're both pining over their respective best friends. I'm okay with Buck/Tommy as a background ship - like mentions of them. Say if you use the bar prompt and go with Eddie being there alone because Buck had a date, but I'd rather they didn't have a focus/presence, like Buck and Tommy setting Eddie up or double dates and the like. I'm also open to Buck being around and/or leading to/implying a Buck/Eddie/Bucky threesome.

Peggy Carter (MCU)/Diana Prince (DCEU) (hurt Peggy): Obviously they've both experienced the loss of their blond haired Steve to plane accidents but I think they're both tough women who are compassionate and have enough differences to make a fun ship. They're both a little jaded but still have a lot of hope/always want to do what's right, and I can see them drawn to one another.

1. they meet while searching for a common enemy post the first WW/CATFA
2. WW AU where Peggy is the spy who ends up crashing into Themyscira

James T. Kirk (ST:AOS)/Diana Prince (DCEU) (hurt Kirk): Of course, again, the fact that Kirk is played by Chris Pine and I ship Diana/Steve does play a part, but I think that specific angst makes it more interesting. Kirk and Steve are very different and I imagine it would be jarring to see someone with Steve's face but nothing like Steve for Diana. I love both characters a lot and I can see Kirk flirting with Diana, getting the brush off, but somehow, being even more intrigued. Diana would probably initially want to keep her distance from this Steve doppleganger but it would be interesting if she couldn't stay away and liked Kirk for his own merits.

Even though Lucas plays basketball, they both love to read and love music and are a bit more on the reserved/introverted side. Also they were both raised by single moms and have a couple of issues with their father (though Dan is definitely worse than Christopher).

Clark Kent/Lois Lane (hurt Clark, hurt Lois: They're great together. I love how mature and loving their relationship is. Lois figuring out Clark and his identity and Clark appreciating Lois for believing in him even in MoS was lovely. I didn't see BvS but the scene where Clark tells Lois that she is his world gets to me. I love the way that she was the one who calmed him down and brought him back post resurrection and I'm so glad that they seem to be not only engaged but have a baby after the ZSJL.

Diana & Lois Lane (hurt Lois, hurt Diana): I wish we could've seen them together, because I think they could've gotten along. Amy Adams and Gal Gadot had good chemistry in their interviews and that could've translated. They're both strong, passionate women and I think they could each use a friend, especially after BvS. Diana knows what it is like to lose a loved one and they could've bonded (I wish it had been Diana instead of J'onn pretending to be Martha in that apartment scene).

I loved how they met, with Diana saving Steve, and how she took a risk to leave with him. The way he isn't intimidated by her and how they work together so well really sold me on the ship. I was happy to see Steve back in WW84 but I didn't like how he possessed someone else's body to return. AUs of the movie are also more than welcome.

Jamie Moriarty/Joan Watson (hurt Joan, hurt Jamie): They're my favorite enemies ship. I find their dynamic so intriguing and full of chemistry. Jamie being fascinated by Joan and thinking she will get an upper hand and move on eventually but just *doesn't* and Joan actually outsmarting her is so much fun to watch. Also Jamie definitely gives off the "no one can hurt you but me".

I was happy to see that their relationship was still as such a solid place in the Revival and how Jess was now there for Luke when he needed it. So good.

Another slow burn ship that was worth the wait, because their first kiss was one of my favorite moments. I hated how they had so many communication issues later on, but I was happy they ended up together. I have seen AYITL but you're welcome to ignore it or use it as canon.

That Chilton dynamic was fun but I also loved how it resulted in them being such good friends and their dynamic even in the Revival was so solid, which was great.

Sure, Jess was surly and closed off, but he was a teenager who had been neglected by his mom and didn't really have a reason to trust anyone. I like that Rory fell despite herself but she also was able to call him out, at when they were friends. And Jess had moments of softness toward her too. When they were good, they were great, and I wish we could've seen more of them actually dating rather than it being alluded to. And I love that Jess grew up, partially inspired by Rory but not just because of her (love his relationship with Luke). Grown up Jess in s6 was a treat and I do like to pretend they found their way back to one another. like anything set pre canon, during canon, canon divergences, AU after the s7 finale, complete AUs or compliant with the Revival. Not picky in that department.

Natasha has said to have lost to the Winter Soldier multiple times so they have clashed in the past and I definitely would've been interested in seeing more of them together in the MCU.

Bucky/Sam (hurt Sam, hurt Bucky): I liked the idea of them when I noticed how much chemistry Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan had during their TWS press tour, but I think I really fell for them during CACW. I just love frenemies to lovers/bickering friends and they gave it to me in spades, especially the scene in the car and the "I hate you". The fact we got to move from that to the soft look Bucky gave Sam in Endgame was such a treat and everything that developed during TFATWS was even better. Never imagined I could get this much content for them. Bucky has been through so much and I love that Sam just doesn't treat him with kid gloves. They have this special bond and I love it a lot. Sam's one of my overall favorite characters- I loved him immediately in TWS and he is just the best. The way he is brave and fights for what he believes and is such a good friend are some of his (many) great traits. Plus he is good at cutting through the BS, which is why he didn't tolerate Rumlow's monologue or even Zemo's attempts at manipulation. I like the what ifs after TWS to anything set during or after TFATWS. Complete AUs are fun too.

Steve/Tony (hurt Steve, hurt Tony): I really fell for them in the first Avengers movie. Ships that initially fight but are on the same side are definitely a favorite of mine and I liked how they progressed during that movie. Their ups and downs over the course of the rest were hard but they had some really great moments. I don't blame Steve for not telling Tony about Bucky (it's easy to say Tony wouldn't have killed Bucky while watching afar and be a little more wary when you are in the moment) and I don't blame Tony for being hurt. Both are stubborn and have communication issues for sure but they do have common goals and I'm just a sucker for scenes like Tony giving Steve his shield back in Endgame and Steve being all "I do" when asked if he trusted him. The way they were able to communicate effortlessly despite all that time apart (when communication issues were the problem!) was a delight to see. Plus you know they shared a bed on Clint's farm. I just would prefer that while they work on their issues, I don't want one of them grovelling to the other the entire time.

Clark/Lois (hurt Clark, hurt Lois): A canon OTP for me. I really loved other version of Clois but this one is my favorite. I fell for them immediately and I absolutely loved their frenemies to lovers journey- their banter was fun, but I also enjoyed the way they got close immediately, in between Clark being there for Lois after her sister left again (and later with even with some of the guys she dated- he definitely came off as jealous of AC) and Lois stopping Clark from murdering Alicia's killer- they were really strong friends and their journey to realizing how they felt was lovely. They definitely flirted (see: dunk tank scene) and suppressed some feelings over the years, but when they were finally on the same page and got together, it was well worth the wait. He really lets her in and fights for her and she makes him laugh and loves all sides of Clark. In the end, they just love each other for all that they are, flaws and all. I only ask that you don't make Lana the villain should you go this route. I am not a fan of Clana but I also think she would be supportive and not derail them.

I think they all have stuff in common with one another but also are different in ways to balance each other out. I like fics after they're together but for getting together stories, I'm good with two of them being together and adding the third or all three getting together at the same time.

I really like the way that their friendship developed and how Clark always believed in Ollie, even when Oliver didn't believe in himself, and how Oliver secretly looked up to Clark. It was tough watching them have their ups and downs, but I felt like they came out of it stronger. If you do go this route though, I would prefer Clark and Lois never having been together- feel free to hand wave if it is set in the later seasons, because I don't want them to have broken up or for Lois to have her heart broken, since I love Clois/Lois.

I like how they both want to be heroes and Tess's journey took a few stumbles but she got there and I would love to see them grow together and connect.

Lois/Lana (hurt Lois): They had their own little meet cute at the graveyard. I liked how they were friends right away and how Lois took to Lana immediately. Lois respects Lana and has listed her virtues to even Clark and Lana called Lois a good listener. I haven't read the s11 comics but it seems they had some good scenes there and Lana even gave Lois (and Clark) her blessing. Lois/Tess (hurt Tess, hurt Lois): I don't think I've fallen for a ship as quickly as I did for these two. They had such chemistry right off the bat (I really had an "OH" moment during their first scene in 'Odyssey') and it never faded. I loved them when they were at each other's throats and also loved how they became friends/trusted each other in s10. They're both strong willed, determined and they want to do what it is right- Lois is a little more brash while Tess is more calculated but at the end of the day, they ended up on the same side. I like fic set during any of those time periods, preferably AUs where Clois never got together if it is in the later seasons.
