I like her a lot. She and Hermione are definitely my favorite female characters in HP. I love her quirkiness. Luna really made me smile, and she was such a good friend. They cast her perfectly in the movies too. :)

I love Luna! Was it book 6 where the only two characters I liked were Luna and Dobby? No, really! Everyone else were asses, but Luna and Dobby were awesome. (Not enough to save a whole book on their own, unfortunately).

Possibly! That was Half-Blood Prince, which I wasn't a huge fan of. I don't really remember much of what happened, though I wasn't a fan of most of the characters either. Luna definitely makes things better. And I LOVE Dobby! I was so sad that he died in the 7th book. :(

Sorry to bring back bad memories. Rowling just went on a killing spree in the 7th book, didn't she? I mean, she even killed poor Hedwig! :(
