I'm irrationally annoyed that they combined Superman & Lois into the Arrowverse for Chocolate Box, lol. I like the show but not enough to care about the Arrowverse as a whole.

There's a lot of debate about it, but technically, yes it's in the Arrowverse. However, they removed all mentions of it on the show itself and I got the vibe they were trying to keep it separate from the rest of the Arrowverse (probably because everyone liked it because it wasn't anything like the Arrowverse!).

So, it's very much standalone at the moment. There was no mention of Supergirl across all 15 episodes (they cut a scene that referenced her) and the character that crossed over (Diggle) wasn't in a scene with Clark/Superman and his lines were really vague in terms of whether or not he knew Clark = Superman.

In terms of tagsets, I spent half an hour looking for it before I found the characters tucked away within the huge wall of text that is the Arrowverse and I would never have clicked on it had I not seen one of the clarification posts. For the sake of clarity I think it's better to have the shows listed separately, but that's just me, lol.

Lol that's part of why I liked it so much! Not a single mention of the Arrowverse (even with one of the major plot points coming as a result of Crisis).

That's weird. When I was playing around with it that didn't happen. I saw something about it on the comm, though, and refreshed the page first. That might help?

IMO, Barry/Oliver is still a crossover because they're from different shows. For the most part, aren't/weren't they both usually on their own shows apart from the crossovers (which is what, an episode of two per season)? I don't know. It makes my head hurt, lol. I nominated Superman & Lois, but I'm 50/50 on whether I'd offer it if I sign up. I guess I could put a note specifying that I'm not interesting in writing anything regarding Supergirl/Arrowverse but then I feel like it would be weird given that...the fandom is literally DCs Arrowverse. Lol, I'm probably overthinking it.

Iris and Barry are a cute couple but Grant Gustin creeps me out. It's completely irrational and not his fault but I just can't stand his face. So the show is a huge nope. Maybe I'll get over it one day. From what I hear The Flash was only good for the first few seasons (consistent for the CW). I like animated Flash at least. :D

I guess it depends on the context. I think with all of these shared universe shows and movies, the definition of crossover has varied a little.

I will certainly consider it! I will wait until the end before I decide to sign up. I wonder why they put nominations at the end of the year? There were some things I didn't get around to adding because I completely forgot.

And the Arrowverse Justice League in a Smallville fic? Why?! My head hurts just thinking about it.
