Thanks for asking! I tutored in college but the first 'adult' job I had was in the legal field. :D

1. this past New Year's Eve. I did one of those cakes where you cut it all the sprinkles fall out of the center and it turned out like planned in front of a small group of family. I was really pleased. :D

2. I made this giant cookie ice cream sandwich that could've used a little more ice cream but was fun

3. My first layer cake was this pistachio cake that I made for a family member and I took it to the park. The decoration was simple but I was happy with the way it turned out

4. The first time I made tiramisu I was really nervous, especially since I had to put it in a cooler and drive for a few hours, but everyone really loved it and I'm super weak for compliments, though I never know how to handle them. I'm also perpetually afraid of making something new for other people- I would prefer to practice once on my own

5. The princess cake I made recently was a lot of work and took some patience, but I did the best I could and I was happy with the results.

Wow, sounds so epic that you've even tried your hand at making an ice cream sandwich!

I saw the recipe on a cooking show and I was intrigued. The chocolate chip cookie dough was a little thick and I ended up breaking a spatula trying to fold it but outside of that, it wasn't too bad. You do need a springform pan to bake and set it in so it keeps its shape, but I had that and it made it easier. :D

Thanks for asking! I love making this chocolate cake recipe but I make it into cupcakes. Turns out well every time. :D

You're welcome! The full recipe can come up to over 30 cupcakes and if you half it, the batter will be watery. Even though the recipe doesn't call for it, I do make sure to add some vanilla extract and add some espresso powder to the hot water (or you can add instant coffee too).
