It's Day 11 of my Smallville meme!

Day 11- Favorite story arc

There have been a lot of good ones but since it's favorite and not best, I'll pick the one I love.



The Green Arrow arc in s6! I don't know if that counts as an arc, since it was more than a couple of episodes, but whatever! I know people have issues with Ollie and s6, but I thought the first half was going in the right direction. I love JH and thought they cast Ollie perfectly. Hell, even Lollie was fun. Plus, it seemed that Clark was slowly getting over Lana (until they blew it in the second half). Of course I found my OTP during this arc! ;)

I am frequently left seriously bewildered by S6 hate. Barring a few of the sillier Lex/Lana parts of the season, it's definitely one of my favourite seasons of Smallville, and it's the only reason that I started/kept watching SV on a week-to-week basis. Without S6 - especially the Oliver parts, as episode posts about Arrow were my point of entry into the fandom and when I made a lot of my awesome SV fan friends, including Bop - I never would have ended up in SV fandom.

Yup, I had my share of my problems with it (mostly the Clexana, emphasis on the Clana) but overall, it was an improvement over s5 and even s7!

Without S6 - especially the Oliver parts, as episode posts about Arrow were my point of entry into the fandom and when I made a lot of my awesome SV fan friends, including Bop - I never would have ended up in SV fandom.
Same here! I almost quit on SV after season 5, but Ollie's arc caused me to hold on. I shipped Clark/Ollie and the lack of fic caused me to write some myself and enter LJ/fandom too! :)

I know a lot of Clexers don't like Ollie, and some Clark fans have issues with him too because they thought he overshadowed Clark, but I enjoy his character and I always thought he was best in s6.
